Not mentioned enough is that Lindsey Stirling was told she’d never make it as a music artist while on AGT... and yet here her music is being performed and loved!!! AND they used the costume inspiration and theme she had in mind when she wrote Roundtable Rival! I love this all so much!!!

Holy hell this was amazing I’ve seen river dance live I spent the money to get up close I was enthralled I’ve did synchronized skating, precision I’ve loved them since I was very little have had there cd for decades ❤
No they tried to honor the spirit of the artist who made the song I think. Lindsey Stirling made Roundtable Rival as a western story... I believe they were trying to keep to her story... sorta

Did... did this just mash up traditional Irish dancing, with paso doble, to Roundtable??? What even.... LOVE IT! Also, the blonde soloist changed her shoes??? I had to rewatch to figure out where. The choreo was really well done.
Wauw!!! I used to tapdance at a danceschool here in Belgium. Over the years Irish tapdancing became more popular so it was included in the lesson. Clapaja never got to this level! So jealous of the people who can dance like this.

The first time I ever heard this song, which was one of the first I heard of Lindsey's, I immediately thought how perfect it was for Irish Dance. It would appear I wasn't the only one who thought so.

Haha Roundtable Rival... have to admit their taste for this fine piece was an exquisite choice... didn’t exactly have Lindsey Stirling’s flair and finesse, but it was done well enough. Lindsey’s video clip shows an amazing story that is easily caught onto with no intro... here I kinda got lost a bit where the story was going.The dancing was amazing don’t get me wrong, but I got lost on the story till the end. Huge proud Stirlingite here lol. Probably should have asked Lindsey how she would have done it. Costumes and dance were great though!🌹👍🏻
Ehm. Have you noticed, that there is no live music playing during this performance? And that the guy "playing" the violin at the begging was actually one of the dancers, in fact the "Romeo" character guy, just miming the playing? They used the song´s recording for this performace, which mean it actually WAS LINDSEY STERLING PLAYING THE VIOLIN HERSELF. Because, she might grant the rights to perform or interpret this song, but I very much doubt, that she would sell the recording rights for this song. So you are atually critisizing Lindsey herself for playing poorly on the recording. Watch the clip again and pay attention, you will see I am right.

Melania they didn’t bring soft shoes back! They never went in the first place. I and my sisters wore them when we were learning Irish dancing as kids.

The "competiton between the men in this performance is very reminiscent of "The Barn Dance" scene from the movie, "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers."
This was awesome, sad to say though the pros were not as in sync as the river dance group and it definitely stood out.
Jacqueline Griffin Riverdance dancers are pro at sync dancing. Just watch one of Michael Flatley's performances...
Considering that the pros never trained in Step Dancing, they did damn well.

It really is glaringly obvious who's a stepdancer and who's ballroom... Shame they didn't have time to practice actually moving as a group more.
