Props should only by online only if they fall into one of 3 categories • a prop from the previous year but returning(they take up spots for new stuff when in store again • they don’t fit into the theme at all • they’re super massive and would be a hassle for the store staff to stock and find room in the ise
One of the more puzzling online-only animatronics this year was from Home Depot. THD-3000 is one of the absolute coolest animatronics that's ever been released for consumers. I feel like it might have been because of the unique cyborg concept of him? But it's really hard to say. The animation and overall quality are on par with Lethal Lily, which WAS in-store, but THD-3000 is a very unique concept overall for Halloween animatronics and maybe they felt like he wouldn't sell as well in-store for that reason. Could also be because they were going with the swamp theme this year, but then again they have tons of stuff in-store that doesn't fit that theme, including their own (very stupid) Sinister Steve the clown. It's hard to say, but I've also heard that THD-3000 hasn't sold well at all this year, which is very surprising to me. Hopefully that doesn't dissuade them from releasing more animatronics like him in the future.
I wish death stalker wasn’t online only or he could have been in jumping spiders spot or emmeline why must spirit always have jumping spider for every theme
These videos are great! Very informational Mr Scranton… well honestly at this point I think they put a bunch of there good props online only on purpose, I guess for marketing or something because they may think maybe if we saw them in person we may be disappointed and not buy

No it wasn't lol there were a couple in stores last year because they were internet returns but it's always been an online only since 2021
