    So many of your tutorials are helpful in shaping the way I look at photo editing - regardless of the tool. Of all the editing tools I've used over the years, with their associated tutorials, I find your editing workshops with approached, referencing Neo's strengths to be the best. Thanks very much.

      It was interesting watching you stay clear of some of your favourite tools (eg curves) to show how others work.😅

    I've loved this series. And you've shown me entirely new ways of using some of the tools than I was used to.

    As I've told you before, I always learn something new with each of your video instructions. This whole series was just great. Well done!
    Thank you for breaking it down into the different parts. It would have been way too much to digest in just one video. And as usual, I will be re-watching this one again and again.

    Personally, what I find most difficult about working with Luminar Neo is knowing when to stop editing, and wanting to use too many tools making the photos look ‘over-edited’. It is also a learning process for me to create a uniform look in my photos and thus develop my own style. But thanks to your videos, I have already learned a lot over the past few months. Thank you, Anthony!

      @AnthonyTurnham  Месяц назад +1

      Thanks Valerie. I appreciate your support. Yes knowing when to stop can be difficult. I just created a video yesterday for my course that goes into that very topic along with two methods for reducing the overall effect of an edit - because I am definitely guilty of getting carried away myself!

    Thanks for the great series Anthony. I've just got back from 2 weeks in Vietnam and have over a 1000 pics to sort through and edit. These videos you produce are invaluable

      I bet that was a great trip! I wish I could share my other monitor screen with you right now because I have a video I'm cutting together for my course and the topic is.... batch processing multiple files. And it's not just copy paste but goes into how to set the files up with a solid technical foundation so we can process whole image sets with optimum speed. It's weird but poeple keep writing comments and often the thing they mention is something I've just been working on!
      Anyway - I hope you have fun with your edits. I love getting back from a trip with new images to process 😀

    Great editing Anthony and very well delivered. Thanks for all the time and effort you put in to produce these tutorials. Maybe you should consider producing your own subscription based masterclass course.

    Hi Anthony, to change the tones, why not use the warm/cool siders in "Color Harmony" instead? 😺 Regards from, Felix the Cat. 😺

    • @AnthonyTurnham
      @AnthonyTurnham  Месяц назад

      It's a great tool. But the thing with warm/cool in color harmony is that the changes are localised to the pre-existing colour rather than the brightness. So if you want to globally put a warm hue into the highlights warm/cool isn't the tool for this. But if you want to tap into specifically the highlights of the cool colours then, bingo. Warm/cool is your friend.

    Hi Anthony ! Thanks for all your helpful video ! I have a question : do you know the best export settings for a web portfolio ? I believe that a photography should never be over 200ko for a perfect display speed on a website. what are the best Luminar export settings for this kind of weight ? From a 6633x4422 file, even though I divide the resolution by 2 and force a 20% quality in Jpeg, I keep having a 1Mo file 😞. Thanks in advance for your answer (and maybe a dedicated video 🙂).

    • @AnthonyTurnham
      @AnthonyTurnham  Месяц назад

      Hi Olivier. I cover the export details in my new course bit.ly/NeoMastery (temporary discount code "LETMESAVE" if you're interested) but in a nutshell I think your problem is you're exporting the photo too big. You really don't need 3316x2211 res photo for the web. Instagram uses 1080px wide, Facebook supports larger sizes but 1500px - 2000px on the long edge would be more than enough for good quality on most peoples monitors. For a web page again 2000px should do it. You'll find that the jpeg size will drop dramatically and you'll be able to save with a better quality (50-75% for example). Hope that helps.

    Hi Anthony,
    I'm always amazed at what you can achieve with the individual tools in Luminar Neo. You prove to me that Luminar Neo does indeed deliver outstanding results.
    I've read a lot of negative comments about Luminar Neo in the forums on RUclips. But it seems to me that these colleagues have never seen a video of yours. 🤣 I love your courses and especially your captivating and convincing way of presenting. You're literally passionate about this software.
    I hope there will be more series like the last one.
    Best wishes from Purkersdorf near Vienna, Alfred.
