Steak n shake literally kept our band on the road for years in the early 2000s we would tour and park the bus in their lots. Always a great meal for like $4 lol
This restaurant is about 7 miles from us. It was always a favorite..don’t eat bread or potatos in any form, so don’t go anymore. Glad y’all toured McAdenville again😊
Steak 'n Shake has had a lot of financial problems for a number of years. Cutting the menu, closing locations, etc., have been the outcome of this. Thankfully, the quality of the food doesn't seem to have suffered. Most recent one I've been to was in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Went there because Eat N Park had closed early. Another good review! New follower here... Hello from Hickory NC. My wife and I feel in love with your videos while were down in North Myrtle this November. Think yall might of actually been there as we were leaving that weekend. We LOVE boulineau's. Wish I was there right now getting some tater wedges and jalapeno poppers. If you get a chance next time you go down make sure to stop at Williamson's BBQ and Seafood on 410. Great little country style buffet. I LOVE their all you can eat pork chops. I may or may not have eaten 8 of them... OK, Im going to have to try the cheese fries. Thanks for the video

Yes, I know where Biscoe is. I used to make deliveries to Bear Creek Hosiery Mill there. I'm sure it's probably closed down now. There was also a large hosiery mill out in Star, that I would go to. I don't remember the name of it. Also, a couple in Troy.
Very sorry to hear that they don't have any locations in your area any longer. We don't have one really close to us, but we do get to this one once in awhile.
@@NCMemoryMakers nope ft Wayne, Auburn, all closed. Not sure if A IN thing or what. Never been for moderations but would take the electronic menus, drink way if they could reopen. They just all closed after c19 & couldn't get help. That would remedy the problem I would think?

Steak n Shake was a favorite of ours for years. In Indiana they discontinued table service a year or longer ago and we will not go back.
Yeah, I don't really like the new way they are doing things. I guess they are trying to cut costs.

I love Steak & Shake. Thin hamburgers and skinny fries. I hate ours closed up. And the one we used to go to at the beach has also closed. Sad.

We really liked steak n shake after church in Ft Wayne,IN. Even bought the seasoning for burgers when camping. But they have now all closed!😢

Yes, Gastonia is the closest one to our home. It's about 45 minutes from us.
