I didn't even know they were 'back together' until I saw him in 'Reboot' ^_^ Ben's scene seemed to be very cathartic to him, at least to me. All of his speech to Jay about Family and what's really important could be applied to Ben's life as well (makes me wonder if Kevin let him write his own lines for the scene?)

This whole story made me message some of my old friends I'd fallen out of touch with and they, too, messaged back without there being a huge tragedy to spur it. With some people, all it takes is a "Wanna hang again sometimes? It was nice before, and I miss you now!" to make them realise they feel the same. And, based on the true love in Affleck's own voice at Jason/Kevin's handprint ceremony, that seems to be the case here.
