I have a nikon d3400 and recently bought a sonia df-600 speedlight. Its ttl mode is not operating well. Do I need to buy a separate trigger for it? Or I'm missing any perticular setting? Plz reply. Thank you.

i have a problem .....i have a manual flash using with a SONIA trigger and receiver...when i mount the flash on receiver and triger that using the test button on triger it works fine ...but when i mount the trigger on camera and press the shutter button its nit working sometimes its working and sometime uts not....can u tell me what is the problem !!!
