I think the BEA models are sick and the only Chapman guitars I really wouldn't mind owning ever since the big lineup change. Rabea can spec a damn good guitar.
Why do people always expect the guitar to be in tune and play ready out of the box?! It went through transportation, god knows how many temperature changes, it probably sat in a warehouse for months. Unless someone set it up for you just before handing it over, of course it'll need setting up and tuning.
Because it shows it has extremely good tuning stability which is very important for touring musicians so you don't have to entirely re set-up your guitar every time you fly to a different country
1: not a mahogany neck 2: not a single coil, it's a hot rail. Technically, humbucker. I'm just saying that because i'm envious man. I'm really glad my favourite RUclips channel got it's hands on this baby
@@ThelegendofCaleb1 It really doesn't. I've worked with both woods before, and mahogany does not have that color unless stained, or perhaps heavily oiled with a darker reddish colored oil finish.
I'm not a fan of telecasters or tele style guitars generally, but that one looks great and I'd definitely pick one of those up. Very heavy metal vibe but also looking classy with that dark wood neck. Would be funny if a RUclips guy like Rob Chapman becomes a hugely successful guitar manufacturer over the next few years like Paul Reed Smith in the 80s-90s.
Hope to get one of these at some point late 2018, had this thing preordered and everything but before it was released to the USA I ended up getting a refund and purchasing a 96 PRS McCarty which I love, but I still yearn for that unique looking axe. I still have my Chapman ML-1PRO and it’s definitely a go to whenever I’m looking to use something other than my PRS models
I'm a big fan of Padauk as well. Using it on the neck was a great choice by Bea. IF i were going to get a Chapman, that would probably be the one. Played the proto at namm as well and it was pretty sweet. Rabea is a great guy too. We have similar unboxing styles lol.
Love the chapman crew and their guitars I do have to comment on that finish though its very nice their is a noticeable sanding line beside the bridge which is a real shame.

It says on the box that it has been set up by riff city guitars before it went out to Fluff.
