- Practice day in Tulsa for the chill bowl! I’m literally in the parking lot and they are practicing the cars for night one of the event I really haven’t had the time lately to give my RUclips it really needs on descriptions and pictures and I’ve been trying my best thanks again for watching
I remember when I raced… there was always a guy who tried to win hot laps… your that guy!!!😂 But it’s ok, I am retired so go for it. Be fast, be safe and bring home that little Driller home.
No one did it better then Rich Volger. He’d want to win the the hauler , well then a trailer

Pretty cool, I don’t think I ever seen a fella black flagged in hot laps but I can certainly understand their concerns. The wheelie on the first yellow was epic!

yea not the best thing to do, for a whole lap during a caution, but if I had a doller for every time I got in trouble for being overzelous I could retire though sometimes if there is not quilifying they go off the hot lap times, so I can see your point Tom, like when we had that big rain delay last may at the carbnight classic took them a bit of time to dry the track off but during the rain I got a good conversation with taylor ferns and buddy kofoid, mind you not at the same time but one then the other, then bryan tyler whos brother I used to cheer on back in the day at avilla and baer field raceway, when he drive the sprints on dirt series, they might have been 305's or 350's but they were the fastest things on the track there and still had some spectacular wrecks, one time a sprint landed on top of the roll cage of another car in the wreck though that might have been at eldora its been 20 years I forget but it was a dicy thing to watch and they had to roll the car off the top of the other and of course the driver it landed on ended up in the hospital but he made it as far as I know, not as wicked as the wreck buddy kofoid took at the 4 crowns in 2022 though that was brutal, and so was that one you got into during the summer
That helmet cam is so sick.
I tell you those RMS cars looked about the best of any that I watched throughout practice yesterday, all the other cars would back it in and slide up the track but not yalls..... Well I was able to see you and Spencer anyway I didn't see Justin but I'm assuming his was probably pretty equal

I've already seen this. I'm only 3 minutes in but I'm guessing you got black flagged for running hard at the end of the session when the yellow light was on. When I watched it earlier it seemed alittle out of line.
I was wrong about when it happened but I think it was justified. I appreciate a man who owns up to his mistakes, no loss of respect here. Good luck

I think it was bullcrap!! I probably would have done the exact same thing.
Why is it bs? usually the crew starts walking out and the first time he basically right reared a guy after the wheelie and the yellow has been out for a long time then. Then to make it worse as he was coming to the official on the track he took both hands off the wheel feet away from the guy. I usually like T-Mez, but that to a point way out of line.

God I love irony. You wanted to run laps so badly you were pushing it under yellow, so then you get ejected and end up running fewer laps than everyone else. Hopefully you learnt your lesson. If you'd just behaved, you would've got more laps in. Its an extremely entitled attitude to get pissed at someone who keeps spinning during a practice session. Its called a practice for a reason, and you're going to get drivers trying different lines and setups, as well as drivers who don't normally race a midget, and are still coming to grips with it. If it occurred during a race and was preventing you getting a run, I can understand as races actually have something on the line. But hot laps are just a chance to test the car and get a feel for the track.

@@tmezTv I mean in Australia you'll get a big ass fine for it, i remember reading something to do with their insurance OH&S were fining the tracks everytime cars would do it.
