I know we always do it, and it looks "proper" for showing, but what is the reason for putting the hair over your ears? Also, it looked like she put her hair over all of her ear, verses just the top part. Is one way better than the other and can you explain the reason behind doing this please. Thank you!
Anna Halko-Angemi - Personal preference there. It’s traditional to cover some of the ear and how much covers and where the hairnet line sits by the ear comes down to personal comfort and style choice, as long as it’s neat, tidy and no risk of getting in the eyes.
"Hunter hair" has its original roots in fox hunting. We put our hair under the helmets so that loose hair doesn't catch on branches as we gallop through trees, and we cover our ears to keep them warm. Hair is pretty effective as ear muffs. If it's exceptionally cold and I don't have any other way to cover my ears I will occasionally use my hair too keep them warm!
Hair in the helmet is NOT safe. If you are worried about your hair getting caught on things or stepped on or want it to be neat and tidy then wear it in a low bun...
Hello Black Beauty! I love all of these videos. Thx!
Great video, never really thought about my hair from a safety standpoint, Thank you!
I have always wondered why hair was up in the helmet. I ride western, so I don't wear a helmet. 😊🐴 That would give me a horrible headache though.

@@johnmaddensalesinc thank you very much!
@@AtoZFarm thank you, warmth makes sense.
I use the headband type hairnet. Much easier. I do not put hair completely behind ears, but just over top of earlobe.
thx
So good for that corn cob in a drill thing
