Just tuned in. I’m 70 and retired from driving. Started in 1978. Saw you was at the Cloverdale Truck Stop. I live in Indianapolis. I think that truck stop opened in 1982-83. In the 80’s they had the best buffet around. Huge salad bar. People came from everywhere to eat there. The owners have changed and the times have changed. I’ll keep up with your videos. I never went west of Kansas City without a reefer on the back. Couldn’t get loads.

I remember in 2014, I got to Amarillo on I-40. Stopped for gas and got talking to a couple truckers, who told me to find a hotel because I-40 in Oklahoma as shut down. The next morning I woke up and found out I-40 was back open. Just as soon as I crossed state line into Oklahoma, there was about two inches of ice buildup. I stayed in the slow lane with all of the 8-wheelers going around 35 MPH. A guy in a pickup drove past us at around 60 MPH. Less than two miles down the road, the pickup crashed into the center medium and rolled. Drive safe

That must’ve been around last thursday. I live near McAlester, Ok and got 12” of snow. That’s the most I’ve ever experienced around here. There’s still around 5” on the ground as of Tuesday morning. I’m glad I wasn’t driving😆

Smart move to stop you can back at it when it's a light out and hopefully the wreck is cleaned up be careful out thereabouts have a safe drive
