I was at the halfway mark, when you'd first finished watching it and were giving your interpretation and break down of the lyrics, and I didn't mean to but I started crying. I struggle intensely with major depression and my greatest goal in life is to get to a point where I no longer, a consistent daily basis, think about my death, feel that my life and existence is one big fluke, that I shouldn't be alive, and that people around me would rather me be gone. It's a really insidious and parasitic kind of depression. I don't really have people in my life, especially locally, that I can call friends and oftentimes what keeps me going are things like music or my likes and interests rather than having people in my life. This jellyfish concept just unexpectedly unleashed a dam of emotions and the crushing loneliness I struggle with. I hope to someday have jellyfish of my own and be a jellyfish for someone else.
