Try finding a writing group to get the support, critique, and advice you need. Since your story is so personal, find a women’s writing group if you can. Either way, writing a manuscript good enough to publish takes a lot of steps and help. It’s not a solo journey. At the least, it’s impossible to catch all of your typos:) Joining a good writing group elevated my skills from someone who thought they were ready to someone with the skills to actually put out polished manuscripts. The funny thing is, my mom and dad gave me this name simply because one of our relatives had the same name.
