Thank you for a really great tutorial in UiPath. I'm only part way through it but I'm enjoying the clear explanations and relaxed pace. I have one question though, I'm using UiPath StudioX Community Edition version 2021.4.2 (4th August 2021) and the interface seems very different to the one in the tutorial. Variables in particular are very different, there's no variables tab at the bottom and when you add text you don't need to use quotes around it. It's quite hard to find where some things are. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it just because they've changed the look and feel or is there a different interface that needs selecting? Many thanks for any suggestions. Still managing to follow the course though and it is excellent!
Hey Hector. Thanks a lot for writing with such a nice message and feedback. StudioX and Studio/Studio Pro are two different things. Unless you have a reason to, you should go with Studio Pro. @@andersjensenorg Hello Anders, it took a while to send a reply to you (I am watching other tutorials of uipath and completed 11hours of a course). Now i just finished this beginners course of yours and just making a feedback. 1. Carry Over Data | ruclips.net/video/sp5ZwFKfh-0/видео.html On the data scraping course the final output was carry over to the other sheets. For example, The "Excel" sheet has a "VB.NET" on one of the titles result. It is because the data scraped was added to EVERY sheets according to the list of orders on "Topics" row (which means first row on Topics sheet VB.NET was added to all the sheets created from the Data Scraped). My solution for this is to ADD Clear Data Table Activity after the Write Range Activity so that it will clear the data stored on the table first before scrape another data to store. 2. Power Automate is Empty: (After Clear Data Table was added) Amazon has different ways to display their products, On the first part when you are selecting the objects to scrape, the VB.Net amazon display was like a Tile BLOCK on the other hand the Power Automate display was a LIST which is confusing for the bot and NOT READING this specific Topic. Sometimes they(amazon) insert Advertisement BETWEEN the list and it also affect the bots work. It is my 1 month and 16 days of learning UiPath and your videos helps me a lot. I am very happy to say that I am learning just by watching videos like this online. Thank You Anders!

Thank you for a really great tutorial in UiPath. I'm only part way through it but I'm enjoying the clear explanations and relaxed pace. I have one question though, I'm using UiPath StudioX Community Edition version 2021.4.2 (4th August 2021) and the interface seems very different to the one in the tutorial. Variables in particular are very different, there's no variables tab at the bottom and when you add text you don't need to use quotes around it. It's quite hard to find where some things are. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it just because they've changed the look and feel or is there a different interface that needs selecting? Many thanks for any suggestions. Still managing to follow the course though and it is excellent!
Hey Hector. Thanks a lot for writing with such a nice message and feedback. StudioX and Studio/Studio Pro are two different things. Unless you have a reason to, you should go with Studio Pro. 1. Carry Over Data | ruclips.net/video/sp5ZwFKfh-0/видео.html
On the data scraping course the final output was carry over to the other sheets. For example, The "Excel" sheet has a "VB.NET" on one of the titles result. It is because the data scraped was added to EVERY sheets according to the list of orders on "Topics" row (which means first row on Topics sheet VB.NET was added to all the sheets created from the Data Scraped).
My solution for this is to ADD Clear Data Table Activity after the Write Range Activity so that it will clear the data stored on the table first before scrape another data to store.
2. Power Automate is Empty: (After Clear Data Table was added)
Amazon has different ways to display their products, On the first part when you are selecting the objects to scrape, the VB.Net amazon display was like a Tile BLOCK on the other hand the Power Automate display was a LIST which is confusing for the bot and NOT READING this specific Topic. Sometimes they(amazon) insert Advertisement BETWEEN the list and it also affect the bots work.
It is my 1 month and 16 days of learning UiPath and your videos helps me a lot. I am very happy to say that I am learning just by watching videos like this online.
