I personally really like #4. The techno music fits perfectly with the main arc of the season, and would've worked even better if it was the intro for Fast Forward season 2 or something. You can also tell it's a fan favorite because it's the most replayed song of the bunch.

Ah, nostalgia. I remember listening to these off my crappy laptop back in the day. I was worried one of the sucky ones would win, so I made sure to put in a vote. I was psyched when the season aired and I heard the song I voted for! And then we saw the end of the series...sniff. There are some things that seem too good to end. I wish they had kept going with the original writers and gotten the acclaim they deserved for being the only show to have a story-line so faithful to the original comics. (Eastman and Laird even got a few animated cameos as cops!) I loved the 2003 series. Funny - but not over-the-top, enough action to keep even a hyper six-year-old's attention, plenty of good family values and relatable issues, and turtles that are actually cool. On a side note, my little sisters started watching the Nickelodeon turtles a while back and liked them. Then they watched the 2003 series. They kinda hate the Nick turtles now... (P.S. Digging up toys and merchandise from 2003-2010 is a pain.)

Five definitely was the rightful deserving winner of the voting. It’s because it sounded very similar to the previous theme songs throughout the 2003 series which is why people voted for it. But it fit with the core value of the previous seasons theme songs of the series which is why I feel like it was the best one and was rightfully the one that should have been picked which is why I think the fans went with it as well and voted for it.

I know! I loved that episode! I would really like to watch the rest of the series but my main source of tmnt is youtube and netflix being a younger tmnt fan. I have been able to find some big playlists of 2003 series but they are clearly missing episodes. (Plus I didn't even exist in the year 2003 soooooo....) but what I have watched I think is awsome.

Kind of neat they composed so many songs! You gotta hand it to 2003 for being the only animated series that doesn't use the 89 lyrics in any way. After two listens: 1. Pretty good 2. Doesn't give impression as an op, but alright 3. Not really my type 4. Lots of personality in this! Personal favorite if it had stronger lyrics, feels like a boss theme 5. +1 to general glad it won sentiments 6. The female vocals seem to be a bad fit somehow? But other vocals were good Mikey 1. Wonderful video! My favorite of the Back to the Sewers ones is #5, the one that won. I noticed that the unused 2003 theme was later remade for the end credits theme of Turtle Forever, the movie where the 1987 Turtles meet the 2003 ones.
Damn.... this really takes me back. I remember hearing these songs over and over again on the website trying to guess which one was going to be the winner. Also that lost song was played at the end of Turtles Forever, I guess as a homage of the song that could have been the theme.
I like a lot of these themes and love how new, fresh and varied they are, kinda reminded me of the mid-2000s Power Ranger themes, but I'm glad they went with the 5th. Not only it's the best rock song out of the bunch but it also maintains the type of music used in S1-5 and Fast Forward. It's good to do rock, rock and rock, not rock, rock and R&B. Though I love Comin' Back.

#1’ Definitely 90’s #2’ it’s good but to slow for the opening #3’ great but definitely more suited for a video game opening or movie promo #4’ definitely could’ve worked for the cyber and tmnt in the future season #5’ definitely deserved the win it blended multiple styles well and was catchy #6’ It’s too all over the place and hard to understand.
I liked the female chorus of #3, but none of them were that catchy. And that's coming from someone who even liked the songs from the Coming Out of Their Shells Tour.
Some of those I liked okay but I'm really glad they went with the most energetic and catchy one and it had some of the familiar notes and lines from the original 2003 theme.

I agree. From animation to script, no other series has come close to it. Each turtle got their own growth arcs and it has serious themes it covered. Plus there wasn't any turtle shipping with April, which felt realistic for their friendship

I heard Mickey's pay the billz in one of 2003 episodes credits, and was looking for it everywhere. And there was no sign of it in web. I even started to question my memory whether it was real or made by my mind.
Bringing the Green sounds like it would have been great for a 90's theme, but not for the Back to the Sewers era. Turtle Time is one of those trying to be "hip" to the times themes that are not good, Comin' Back is not much better. Cyber Shredder might work for an in episode montage music theme, or for a different kind of cartoon, but not for Ninja Turtles even if this particular season had a decently strong tech and internet theme mixed in. Ready to Strike sounds like a late 1990's/early 2000's theme, but wouldn't have done a good job getting me pumped for the show. There's a reason why the winning theme was what it was, not only was it a decent and fun theme to get you excited for the show, but it didn't have much strong competition.

I really liked #3 & #4. Mikey's songs were kinda funny and for the unused theme song at the end, I prefer the one that's well known.
K V True. Hearing the unused theme, it would not have fit the series' setting and tone well, since it started out as being closer to the original comics, but with some changes.

Kind of neat they composed so many songs! You gotta hand it to 2003 for being the only animated series that doesn't use the 89 lyrics in any way.
After two listens:
1. Pretty good
2. Doesn't give impression as an op, but alright
3. Not really my type
4. Lots of personality in this! Personal favorite if it had stronger lyrics, feels like a boss theme

Oh this is really fun! Too fun for what 2003 ended up becoming, but nice for a TMNT theme as a whole.
This was super cool! Never heard any of these before besides the used back to the sewer theme. Very interesting to learn some ninja turtles history here.

I noticed that the unused 2003 theme was later remade for the end credits theme of Turtle Forever, the movie where the 1987 Turtles meet the 2003 ones.
Damn.... this really takes me back. I remember hearing these songs over and over again on the website trying to guess which one was going to be the winner. Also that lost song was played at the end of Turtles Forever, I guess as a homage of the song that could have been the theme.

I like a lot of these themes and love how new, fresh and varied they are, kinda reminded me of the mid-2000s Power Ranger themes, but I'm glad they went with the 5th. Not only it's the best rock song out of the bunch but it also maintains the type of music used in S1-5 and Fast Forward. It's good to do rock, rock and rock, not rock, rock and R&B. Though I love Comin' Back.

#2’ it’s good but to slow for the opening
#3’ great but definitely more suited for a video game opening or movie promo
#4’ definitely could’ve worked for the cyber and tmnt in the future season
#5’ definitely deserved the win it blended multiple styles well and was catchy

Well, there are now posts on Deviantart that show the 2003 turtles hanging out with the Loud family from Nickelodeon’s The Loud House.
This may seem odd but I really like #3 theme song. I will admit it is not a right fit for a tmnt cartoon and especially not a right fit for children at the time but I would really love to here this song in a upcoming tmnt movie as a sound track.
Gotta agree... this was the best of the batch for me (and I have big hate for the 1, 2, 3, 4 theme), but it didn't really fit the show.

I remember this contest as if it was yesterday. Every night I kept voting for number 3 to win . But I completely understood why they went with number 5. Mainly I was just glad the ones who entered this contest live the series enough to try to get their version immortalized.
The fourth one sounds like something Daft Punk would make. Pretty catchy though.

I agree. From animation to script, no other series has come close to it. Each turtle got their own growth arcs and it has serious themes it covered. Plus there wasn't any turtle shipping with April, which felt realistic for their friendship

I was satisfied with the song the fans chose on that one. Same thing applies here, but #6 was nice.

I heard Mickey's pay the billz in one of 2003 episodes credits, and was looking for it everywhere. And there was no sign of it in web. I even started to question my memory whether it was real or made by my mind.

Bringing the Green sounds like it would have been great for a 90's theme, but not for the Back to the Sewers era. Turtle Time is one of those trying to be "hip" to the times themes that are not good, Comin' Back is not much better. Cyber Shredder might work for an in episode montage music theme, or for a different kind of cartoon, but not for Ninja Turtles even if this particular season had a decently strong tech and internet theme mixed in. Ready to Strike sounds like a late 1990's/early 2000's theme, but wouldn't have done a good job getting me pumped for the show.
There's a reason why the winning theme was what it was, not only was it a decent and fun theme to get you excited for the show, but it didn't have much strong competition.
The winning theme was my favourite and not just for this contest but my favourite when comparing it to all the themes from throughout the series
