The cows that come around near where I live are really chill, but that doesn't mean I'm not terrified of them if I have to walk by two mom's and ten babies that are just lying down in the path I have to take😅 a lot less scary when you're in the car, since all they're worried with is the grass
Lowkey interesting to see how you, Leon, genuinely become emotional invested every time theres a young child at risk. I suppose thats what happens when a good man becomes a dad. Much love!
Hello Mr. & Mrs. Lush. Great content as expected. Couple of things caught my attention... the clip where the driver calls 911 due to another driver following & throwing things at him... I immediately noticed that he said that he was driving on Lomas & San Pedro & instantly knew that he was from Albuquerque, New Mexico which is about 3hrs north of where I am from (Las Cruces, NM) and is our state's largest city and notorious for its high crime rate. Fun Fact: it's also the same Albuquerque that Bugs Bunny mentions he should've taken a left turn at in the Merry Melodies cartoons LoL... Anyways... so about 45min south of Las Cruces, is El Paso, Texas which borders right next to Juarez, Mexico which was taken over by the cartels back in December 2006. Basically a war between cartels & law enforcement & cartels have upheld control to the present day. Though it's not as dangerous as it was, I personally haven't been since then & still choose not to go to Juarez but do have a few friends & family who will cross over from time to time. But yeah the clip of the attempted car jacking is pretty nerve wrecking. My Apologies for the long post. Look forward to future videos! Hope y'all have a great day!! 🌞✌✌
The way Mrs. Lush made that noise and smiled when Leon said "Or bodies" on the clip of the guys dumping "Trash" straight up gave me serial killer vibes lmao 😬🤣😳
The kangaroo one is legit. I don't know why, but right before sunrise and right after sunset, they just want to cross the road, and it's almost like they wait until you can't dodge them!
The clip of the people climbing over the barrier, with branches in the road, looks like a hijacking in South Africa. They try to rob the truck. It's very part of our daily life here
@6:40, they are refugees who live in small camps under bridges. They are trying to load into and steal that guy's truck. Truck drivers deal with it far more often than people think.
And it is also much harder for a truck to reverse. Is such a bad position to be in. He was kind of lucky they didn't jump in-frond of the truck. If you just run them down and go they will call you a monster that killed the poor refuges and try to lock you up forever. If you don't they might just kill you right there.
The guy in that last clip was such a drama queen, those cows were absolutely strolling not stampeding, the only thing he was in danger of is getting licked by one of those sandpaper rough tongues
The guy with the car following him happened in Albuquerque. The guy had just left a friend at a bar/club. As he pulled out of the parking lot, the Chrysler started following him. It was completely unprovoked and likely a carjacking attempt
I live in Albuquerque. both the driver and the following car were right at our State Fair grounds area and it is a very good thing that the driver in the first car called for help right away.
Pine trees' roots are not very deep in the ground. Their roots tend to be closer to the surface, so pines always topple pretty easy during high winds, or if there has been a ton of rain, and ground is soft, they topple pretty easy.
My grandma discovered that she had a phobia of pigs when she was in her 20s. She was in a vehicle going to another town when they came upon a large drove of pigs who started surrounding the vehicle as they passed on the road. She had never seen a pig before and was so scared. To this day she sudders and looks away when she sees even an image of a pig.
11:30 funny enough random emergency landings aren't really uncommon for residential areas in SD mainly b/c our "executive airport" montgomery-gibbs is right in the middle of kearny mesa so it's just a regular day for us
The tress fell most likely due to heavy rains in the area, the canopies are tightly packed together so a few had probably been leaning on the others for a while and finally gave way.
7:40- So don't quote me, but what I think might be happening here is some trees can have such interconnected root systems that if the ground is too wet and malleable and one goes down, they all do.
8:07 LEON.......... THERE WAS A GUARDRAIL ON THE RIGHT! They don’t usually put guardrails on the side of the road in flat areas. They were DEFINITELY in mountainous/hilly area.
As someone living in Australia, I can confirm that's normal kangaroo behaviour. 😂 It's why I will always say kangaroo are worse than deer, you can go 15 kph and a kangaroo can still mess you up. 🤣
The trucker on the overpass with the trees in the way; he was ambushed by people who wanted to steal and use his truck to smuggle themselves over a border. I can't remember where. I did read this on the internet but it makes the most sense.
@@krashd I think it was in South Africa, I was pretty sure I heard that too. Its up in the air, could be either or. That's just what I saw on Reddit but like I said, it's the internet.
Leon my man, you've no idea how fucking scary it is being chased through a field by like 40 cows. I hate to say I've experienced it more than once. I've also had to run away from a bull and I thought that was it for me. On paper it sounds like it was my fault, and I guess you could say it was if I was in the field, but in the UK we can do that and you can't always see if a field is empty with hills in the way. Man I still clearly remember one of the times where the cows chased me and a friend, the throwing ourselves at the gate, stopping to get our breath and turning around to see ALL of them right on the other side of the gate staring us down. I mean... it's kind of funny too though lol
As a small plane pilot they are much safer in the case of an engine failure than an airliner. They glide fairly well and don’t need a lot of room to come to a stop
I'm a small plane pilot and former aerospace engineer, as well, and can confirm they're much safer than larger passenger planes. I've been fortunate enough to have never needed to use my emergency protocols, but they are good to brush up on frequently.
10:20: The plane on the freeway happened not far from where I live. I lived in southern California for 15 years, and this has happened before in different areas. The other incidents weren't filmed, but didn't end well.
9:58 you guys didn’t catch it but he immediately went for the hit on the back of the car ! And he chased him on the u-turn! What the hell is he trying to kamikazi himself
The earth eroded from heavy rain and the root system which connects to the other trees got exposed and the weight of one tree toppled, pulling the rest with it.
I had a hard of cows surround my car, try to climb on it, and tried to eat my windscreen wipers. It actually was scary being surrounded by them, cos I had my young kids in the car.
My grandma's 60+ hotel building has special locks on each floor at night thank God. By my son at the time was 4. He wanted to sleep with great grandma and woke up at 5am to find me. Our bedroom door was next to the door going to the hallway. So of course he picked the wrong door walked out the door and down the hallway. Her neighbor just happened to be up and heard something and brought him back. Thankfully all was good but it scared the crap out of me. She now has a clasp lock at the top of the door 😂🥺
I actually was driving away from my friends house and saw two roughly 2 year old baby is walking alongside the highway big 4 lane California road , ppl go easily 40+mph and me as well as multiple other cars pulled over and tried to help them find their home we got them to a safe area finally I saw a woman on the other side of the parking lot in the condo complex. She came out multiple times the first time I saw her I didn’t immediately think she was the mother because she didn’t look that concerned and fairly young maybe early 20s didn’t seem visibly upset(if I had lost my dog in that area, I would’ve been screaming at the top of my lungs let alone my two toddlers) . after the second time I saw her I started waving my hands across the parking lot and yelling. Are you missing your kids? It was her apparently they had just learned how to work the door knob. Was so scary one of the other ladies that pulled over had called the cops but it was easily 15 min from when I saw / got them away from the road to when the young lady came over . So scary I would have taken less than 4 min for them to get out and on the sidewalk, had they stepped in the road it would have been over 😢 sad to see this seems to happen somewhat frequently
8:50 strange, but it does happen. I experienced this myself when I was a child. My mom, brother and me were driving to get to Kickboxing training, and then these young adults drive in front of us and throws soda cans and what not at our car. They also constantly kept slowing down to waay under the speed limit on roads where you couldn't really drive around. And when it was possible, they would match our speed so we couldn't drive ahead of them. Thankfully nothing serious happened. They were just a couple of assholes. It all ended on a happy note though. We ofc wrote down their plate number, and a few months later it was in the news paper that 2 of the 3 guys had died in a car accident. (we could see the plate number on the picture)
Some of these people forget their driving a 3,000 pound death machine, trying to just gently back away from ambushes is crazy. Like trying to use gentle parenting on someone mugging you.
Cows are not scary, lmao. Grew up in Idaho, did lots of backcountry travel. Seeing cows in the road was literally an everyday occurrence. The road to my grandparents' cabin crossed grazing land. Every time we went up or down the mountian for supplies, we would encounter large herds of cattle. Just honk and drive slow. They will get out of the way. Won't attack unless you get out and stand between a mama and her baby. It just takes some common sense 😂 Also, sometimes my friends and I would get bored and fuck with them, sneak up and howl like wolves and watch them run away
The scariest experience I had in a car was in Yellowstone National Park when my car got surrounded by a shit ton of Bison and there were babies in the herd
Cessna planes are a huge meme, they keep crashing all the time 'cause they're so flimsy and usually piloted by old rich dudes. Also as a farmer, I can say that cows are absolutely not the most docile animals on the planet, those fuckers are smart, and kill more people each year'n sharks. The males will regularly trample fences just to charge at people and inanimate objects (like cars) whenever they feel like it, and even the females will join the party if they get in the mood (usually around breeding season.. which is roughly every other week in summer). And no, electric fences don't help; their skin are so thick that they don't even feel industrial cattle prods
Cows, not scary at all. But bulls, different story. We use to hike in Maui and the hike started in a field with wild cows and a bull. I was always super nervous walking that field with the bull just chillin, watching me. Nothing ever happened and I got use to it, but the first time was super sketchy
The guy being followed by the chrysler 300 was completely random. Theres a full clip, i cant remember exactly how it goes but they tried to stop him and rob him but he drove off and they followed. Not a road rage incident.
If that shit with the tree on the road and people climbing over happened to me, i would not care that there are now people on the road behind me and reverse as much as the car can handle
7:46 I experienced something like this, walking through the woods, first time I've ever done cocaine, 4 in the afternoon, zooted.. in my situation it was a Dericho ( straight line winds ). I was in the pine barrens , wet soil, wind in a straight line, and roots intertwined and boom. I think 7 or 8 trees came down in my situation. I loved it being on cocain lmao. Don't do drugs kids.
10:27 people, people. When any of these things with other people go down. Robbery, car jacking, blocking, boxing in. DO NOT STOP. I’ll say again DO NOT STOP. That gives them the power, as long as you are moving, you have the power. I actually do have first hand experience, I think it was Texas or New Mexico, I was driving the long country roads. And I saw a cop and two pulled over cars. As I drove by the two cars left, the small one sped up and got in front of me, the red truck got behind me. Speed limit 65, small car once in front, slowed down until he was riding my front bumper. Truck sped up to ride my back bumper. But I didn’t slow down, (mind you I was in a big van, small cars maybe would have to pull tricks, but at that speed they are unlikely to bump you because they would wreck to, and the goal is to get you to stop, not cause a big scene.) About 40 minutes we drove like that, them riding my front and rear, sometimes they would move around try a different angle but then go back to riding. Finally they both pulled off and slowed down. Probably not wanting to go any further away from the start. And I didn’t call the cops because out there the only and first cop to respond would’ve been the one I saw pulled over with them. So I don’t know if they were involved or if they had just finished a stop on them when I rolled up. Mind you cop did not have lights flashing when they were all on the side of the road at the start.
Lush Luvvlies, it might interest you to know (and you're going to laugh at this), the cow is one of our most dangerous animals in the UK, lol. Between April 2000 and March 2020, cows were responsible for 98 deaths. 22 of those were farmers and farm workers, the rest being random members of the public. Crazy stuff huh, lol. Cows hate me and I don't even eat them. (No, I am not a nutty vegan, just don't particularly enjoy meat) . I can't just stroll through a field, I'm running, 'cos they could be right down the other end but, I don't know if they get a whiff of me or something and suddenly their heads all turn in my direction, and they're a'comin'! And not slow!
We use to have so much fun with cows as kids. They get scared so easily its retarded :D but give them 5 minutes of peace and their to curious not to return
And the trees on that forest road comes down after heavy rain. Makes the soil lose so they canr hold 200 trees on a slope up for long. This happens all the time where they leave rocks and trees close to the road and also habe giant landslides because of rain. It's inevitable i would say. Way worse when its rocks in india the size of small cars coming down with 40 miles an hour right at ya.. RUclips has the footage. 😏
As a cattle farmer I would be scared as hell if I turn a corner and seen MY cows on the road but just any old cows, that guy has had a sheltered life.
The cows man, the cows, they haunt me. 😂
The cows that come around near where I live are really chill, but that doesn't mean I'm not terrified of them if I have to walk by two mom's and ten babies that are just lying down in the path I have to take😅 a lot less scary when you're in the car, since all they're worried with is the grass

7:28 I think this happens in certain areas of China a lot?
7:46 I experienced something like this, walking through the woods, first time I've ever done cocaine, 4 in the afternoon, zooted.. in my situation it was a Dericho ( straight line winds ). I was in the pine barrens , wet soil, wind in a straight line, and roots intertwined and boom. I think 7 or 8 trees came down in my situation. I loved it being on cocain lmao. Don't do drugs kids.
Wow what a crazy thrilling experience given that you’re alright! it sounds like you didn’t really seek this one out- it sought you out- 😂 be safe !
Little window tint and a matt black gatt solve a lot of those there problems...
someone tries robbing me with a bat while I'm in my car, I'm going to repave the road with them.
"stampede of cows" and the goes ahead to show a normal sized cattle just casually strolling on the road. Some people are such drama queens.
While others don't get irony.
Lol😂
But I didn’t slow down, (mind you I was in a big van, small cars maybe would have to pull tricks, but at that speed they are unlikely to bump you because they would wreck to, and the goal is to get you to stop, not cause a big scene.)
About 40 minutes we drove like that, them riding my front and rear, sometimes they would move around try a different angle but then go back to riding.
Highways and interstates were designed with forethought so planes could land on them in case of an emergency
7:30 mudslide
I there any way you guys could edit the video so we see more of what's being shown in the video? Lately the content is so small I can't see it
Never rub/scratch/pat a kangaroo on its chest, it will kick you. Its how they initiate play or a fight.
Crikey! Thanks for that mate
We use to have so much fun with cows as kids. They get scared so easily its retarded :D but give them 5 minutes of peace and their to curious not to return
well.. I guess in 3-4 of those videos I would be committing murder with my car to get away
That Lomas and san Pedro is from my city in Albuquerque. It's what we can the war zone. 😊
