It’s actually the next gen reverse herringbone seats called the Collin’s elements. The ones on the this a350 is the previous gen Collin’s elevation and with the new gen seat, apparently it offers more space as the seat model is the same as starlux a350
I love this but why is every airline introducing the 787 with 3-3-3 layouts, just do 2-4-2 there’s 1 less middle seat it’s it’s more confident especially for families
This cabin should have introduced into service since 3Q.2023. Now, it doesn't "leading the way" because several airlines offer equal or better hard products. Etihad has been decreasing theirselves since 2018.
There's something about Etihad I don't understand - why are the seats so short? There's no backrest behind the head, if you are a well-built person. Other than this, I think they are a good airline.
9 across in a plane originally designed for 8 across makes Etihad's coach as bad as all the other airlines that chose to densify coach cabin with narrower seats. No reason to choose them over another airline.
Try changing a middle name on your booking… $100 thanks for coming. Their planes are better but their customer service outside of the flight is terrible!
They are a similar size of the Etihad A350 Business Suites, about 17.3 inches compared to the 18.5 inch screen on the A350. But since this seat is actually a different newer seat model than the A350 (Collins Elements on the 787 and Collins Elevation on the A350), the screen size looks ridiculously small compared to the potential 24 inch 4k screen we see on Starlux which uses the same seat model as what is shown here. I guess is just for product commonality
Awesome more seats narrower than a domestic A320. They are miles behind emirates. Flew they dilapidated 777s and then into the A380 it’s worlds apart. 787 is not the product they need to reclaim their customers
For Etihad to improve ...they Need to first grow from the obsession with European people and CEOs...get an Asian CEO who understands culture and is 10x more innovative.
They’re an airline based in the UAE, a country which still uses the Kafala system to exploit its migrant workers. Did you expect anything else from them?
It would have been nice to actually tour the airplane!!! hello?? the title did say "Tour"..
Such a natural and unprepared chat :)
Like two Ken's talking to each other
So they’ve wisely changed the original 787 business seat to a seat that is very similar to the biz seats on the A350s.

That’s a huge IFE ❤. Well done Etihad
Still not as comfortable as A380. The difference was very clear when I travelled from London to Abu-Dhabi on A380 and Abu-Dhabi to Singapore on 787.
Well the a380 is no longer in production and more customers will be retiring them soon
The new Economy seats looks uncomfy. I will miss the current yellow seats. (Oldie but goldie)

Profits
Why? there will be one less seat per row if they go 2-4-2 which of course would be very nice! But are Economy passengers willing to pay more?!
Its a plane Expensive tickets Scumbag passengers Average food and crowded airports
So whats new here 😅😅😅😅
Next story 👎
Ethiad still exists!? They came up as an even more premium airline than EK in 2014!
10 years on, what they' ve done?!
Can’t believe you didn’t challenge him on why he just cut the crew salary whilst announcing record revenue if he values them so much? boycott Etihad

Stunning cabins! ☺
Nice.
One thing I don't like in 787 9.
it has a window seat and does not have a window.
I'm not sure what the seat number.

But no pajamas and no mattress pad for business class. 😢
if you improve leg space in economy, otherwise Qatar and Emirates are better-better leg space

Those are some small screens for business class

No premium economy, no booking from me.
Cattle class cabins with two engines - no thanks. Will take the Emirates airbus a380-800 for my international travels.
I know what he means.
Thought it was the Boeing 777x
the 777x hasn’t been delivers to airlines yet
@@taeulen Nothing new about the Boeing 787-9 either
how I hate this marketing department generated PC, overhyped but empty artificial business BS speaking

That guy is hot
Cramped, cramped, cramped ....
This CEO just reduced the salaries for one of the best cabin crew in the world. Why?
