I get a panick attack every time I have to do any paperwork here in Serbia. Like you said, why don't they make it digital like everything else? Nobody likes standing in line for hours in government building just to be told you are missing one paper.... Then next time you come with the missing paper they tell you you are missing another one. Why can't you just tell me everyhting I need the first time I came???!!! It drives me nuts. But printing experience you had is really another level. Never heard that before. It's insane.
Yes, it can be very frustrating. We have experienced that part of getting one paper today and the next time we are missing a new one... that is why we let our lawyer do everything now. However, the banking situation is a nightmare and that we have to do, thats where we had the printing issues. Good luck in your next renewal!
This is because of the need to employ as much cousins and friends on the shoulders of the state. So you invent work places. Sometimes is bizarre and sometimes is grotesque.....But if its of any consolation even ancient Egyptians hade massive bureaucracy ;-) @@mariaandbryan
@@nesamark this is so common in so many places. Believe me, in Spain, where I (Maria) am from, bureaucracy can be even worse than here. The only plus we have is that most things are digitalized, however the process is just as painful 🤦🏻♀️
Spain is not much different either, everything can take days to get done. I think only Germany and prob the UK has better systems than the countries around the continent.

We have EUPRAVA system which is far from ideal. But can fix some small things online without go to police station. My wife is foreign and we had so many trouble getting Right papers. Few days i go we do first time online temporary residence after three years it was so much easier and save us a lot of time.

Poland is the same, so much bureaucracy and paperwork if you want to get anything done. Even things that should be simple are so complicated 😅
