I imported this XU80 in August a 2002 model but I can tell you it is not really a good car. NVH is very poor, a lot of road noise and wind noise for RM200k car. This car is like a Milo tin. Kalau pandu laju 160km/jam ke atas, bumpernya ada crack kat bumper bracket. Spare parts also hard to find. This car is slightly under powered but very fuel efficient like a 1.5cc car. Engine is a little loud with CVT transmission. X70 has better power and pickup, better than XU80 in terms of road holding and NVH. Kesimpulannya, indah khabar dari rupa. Very honest feedback from a Harrier XU80 owner for 2.5 months.
I'm reluctant to buy this car because it doesn't have the same 2.4 liter 8 speed auto of camry and rav4 that's a lot cheaper. Only if the harrier has those. I regret with toyota. What did they think when they put 2.0 cvt transmission in the harrier?
@@azeem6270 bro, if you drive a Tiguan, then you should not buy a Harrier otherwise you will regret later. I have sat on my cousin brother's Tiguan and there is a big gulf of difference between a continental and Jap car. I drove my wife's X70 and I can see the difference already. X70's road handling, performance and NVH so much better than XU80. XU80 only better in terms of fuel consumption, only thing Toyota has done a great job.

@@nashk935most importantly, buying a car above RM200k must have luxury feel. Very concerned on the sound insulation.
