I know you might not be interested in the OLD Seed gundam since there are tons of new modern kit right now, but I really want to see your review on HG Seed Saviour, Providence and Legend gundam.
@@byte.mp311they’re talking about the GPO2A Physalis by Solomon. A huge kit, MG size and bordering on MGEX level of frame detail. Has gimmicks everywhere, LED and moving parts for the cannon and eyes. A SUPER popular kit, currently hard to find and I think the last batch of printing finished up a couple months ago. It’s also built from the ground up, so it’s possible that the GPO2A Solomon might’ve tanked the company that made it, but nowadays it seems that are Chinese 3rd party/bootleg seems to be in cahoots with each other, @ least that’s my theory, but it’s still equally possible that they still exist, and that we might see more hyper-detailed (hyper expensive 😢) Stardust kits from that company if they like the success of the Solomon GP02A.
@@Getwright-the Solomon GP02A Physalis is not PG scale, if you mean the kit is as big as a PG because of the sheer size of the Physalis as a mobile suit, then I have no grief with you. But it is not 1/60 scale, not even 1/72, it’s 1/100.
Also most websites like Newtype or USA Gundam Store do have manuals for kits scanned, sometimes Mech9 does too. I sometimes take a pic of the manual, then look at it on my iPad and cross off part numbers with having the image in an editing program (I prefer procreate but IbisPaint works, too)

I love the proportions of the SDCS line. Id a tually give the massive sticker sheet a pass, as half of it is for the effects on the wings. And im usually the first to hate on a kit that has a sticker sheet larger than the finished product!
SD kits are harder. I put way more work "fixing" the F-Kunoichi and a Rising Freedom. Needed a lot more paint/lining to make them crisp and avoid the MANY stickers.
This would be good for mecha but i request the HGCE 1/144 Strike Freedom Gundam Dx wings of light p bandai it's much more accurate than the standard one
My issue with Cross silhouette series is they look nice, but the amount of cut corners doesn't justify the price hike compared to standard SD kits. They need more color separated parts to justify it.

Yeah, SDCS does still have some missing colors and hollow parts. But you forget, the MAIN market for SD is cheap, quick builds with larger parts fit for little kids and middle schoolers. MGSD is SDCS but for adults, no cut corners there. The price hike that has been announced OFFICIALLY by Bandai for all their plamo (not just Gundam) affects all kits, not just SDCS, so it’s not a price hike solely on SDCS.

Bandai has discontinued most of the early SDCS kits, and also discontinued the individual set of the CS frame parts for back when SDCS only came with the armor weapons and SD frame. I assume they’ve also redirected some of the SD money to MGSD and actual MG’s, too. I like SD as well, but you CANNOT expect them to have perfect color sep. they are MAINLY intended for little kids and middle schoolers, and are supposed to be cheaper than HG. Some of the price hike is also the rarity of the earlier SDCS kits. You cannot expect these cheap little kits, with most of their price going towards including both SD and CS frame in the box along with everything else, to have perfect color separation. Yes, it could be a bit better, but if it was to be, that would be so much more parts, and THEREFORE INCREASE the price! I don’t like the price hike, but that’s what Bandai has decided to do and we just have to live with it.
p sure it's just recency bias: the new seed kits are using new tech, and it's all because we got a seed movie this year. we have some new uc stuff like the psycho mkii and that one Zeta kit that never had a kit yet coming too, which is the oddity here. since there's not much media to go with them. tho mg vidar is another of those.

also people forget that the CS Frame can be also used for a 1/144 non-SD type body that is Build Divers' RX-Zeromaru in its "Real Type" mode.
