I've done the trail twice when I lived in Sacramento Is back in the eighties had an 86 lifted Toyota 4 runner. And it was just an awesome awesome time. Thanks for all the work you've done and everybody else.
My Dad would take me with him on the Father’s Day run every year until from 1998 to 2001 when he was diagnosed with brain cancer. He fought and won against it but couldn’t drive anymore so we stopped going. I’ll always cherish the memories when we were on the Rubicon. He passed away in November of 2023 so he’s wheelin’ again! One day I’ll get back there. He was on the cook crew and went by Slim.
Just day tripped it last Friday. I was the only rig on the trail, it was eerie. Coming out on the Tahoe side seeing the staging area completely empty is something I will never see again. The trail was fuckin rough like I haven’t seen before.
Much appreciated Mr. Sweeney! I wish we had more of these county roads around
God Bless ALL of you who put these together every year and God Bless America!!!
Love what your crew & Volunteers do to keep this event going.
I wanna say thank you to Ayala for recommending me your page. Greetings from arecibo, Puerto Rico. ❤

Very impressive. I can't wait to make a trip out there and see your gorgeous backyard.
Okay! I’m convinced! See ya next year 🤙
That is badass, I'll definitely heading that way once my jeep is built.

On the old bucket list.
It's a dream.

Never been but I don’t think it’s worth destroying a vintage rig;( I’ll do it someday in a rental;)
@@JeepCherokeeful right on, never heard of a rental jeep for the rubicon.
Un saludo a ayala desde arecibo Puerto Rico que me recomendó la pagina.❤
Patriots 👍💪🇺🇸
Is there a email contact for Bob Sweeny?? Planning a trip out to do the Rubicon and would like to get some details. Appreciated
That’s the American 🇺🇸 way 👍👍🤙
400 jeeps attend this event?
That’s a place I would love to go but I don’t have lockers
You can make it. There’s tons of easy lines and bypasses. You may have to stack some rocks but you’ll still have a blast.
No lockers needed , unless you want the full experience.. the jamborees are rock stacking conventions
@@tntzimmerman9552 just did it last month. did the whole trip without my lockers. JKUR 3.5 lift and 37s
I dread the day I see a charging station on the rubicon. 😞
How about bone stock jeeps? Mine is 95, stock…
Lol i thought this trail was hard till i did fordyce.
