Does dude at the laptop have his own channel? Where he's not trying to appease the old man that feels compelled to insult every track that's not already on his playlist of under a hundred songs. How often they tell him that a band got good views last time before they play something tells me he doesn't care about the music, he cares about money and clout.

@@marylandstationmusic9422 maybe, maybe not. Though if your musical knowledge was used to discuss the song it wouldn't seem so hyper critical. Passingly mentioned the syncopation just to act like you've moved past that and it's beneath you now. Dislike all you want but elaborate on why a bit. They had to twist dudes arm to get him to look at Primus beyond instant dismissal and it's been that way with a bunch of groups. Don't have to like the music but it came off as more pretentious than the bunch of art students you were reacting to.

I can identify what each one is saying however it validates or invalidates nothing, especially all keyboard solos are exactly the same. 🤣 some people safe in boxes, others look outside. even then life is a journey. do what speaks to you, ignore all else. variety is the spice of life, as every single one of us have different fingerprints and different resonant frequencies : )
