A cast member on the Disney facebook group shared some info about it, I can link the post here if you’d like. Basically cast members who work the campus were told that construction will be going on at and near the Dr strange sanctum that’s related to the e ticket in some way. Last years concept art also showed the sanctum being completely different, it looked like an entrance queue for the ride

Apparently construction is starting on the avengers e ticket soon! That’s why the Dr strange show permanently closed today
