- Welcome to my series on Police Simulator: Patrol Officers where I will play through the game and give my perspective as a real life police officer.

The lady litterer at 22:20 had a stolen ID. :) The computer picture doesn't match the id picture.
Love the series!
“That was amazing. But it hurt.” That’s what she said
I agree with some of the other comments about the developer having GamerCop
do the voiceovers. It would be far less robotic. Although, then they’d have the officer hiding behind bushes whispering to himself “don’t beeee suspicious. Don’t beeee suspicious”
Hello from Denmark.
After watching your first 23 episodes i decided to purchase this game and I have enjoyed it.
Keep up the good work😀
And thank you and all of the the police officers and other first responders out there for keeping all of us safe 😀
I did the very same after watching the other episodes from Gamer Cop, lol. Have fun!
Haha you two😀 they ought to send him a thank you gift 😂

Thank you for saying that :)
You've seen wallet thief on the sidewalk, but were busy handling a collision... Might be worth trying a warning on some of the minor infractions, it might bump your other xp. I'm not sure what that'll give you, though.
Also, the litterer at @22:28 gave you a stolen id. The face on the background check was different.
excellent one
I did make a post on steam with a lot suggestions on the game. if you like to join the post to add some suggestions to the devs your welcome to do so.
They should have you do the voice work for the officer!
It would sound more authentic for sure.
Get them for fleeing first if they run
You can still stop cars for traffic violations on foot using the stop sign
I do so enjoy watching these. It makes me want to buy the game, but I’m too involved in Farming Sim 22 and Outer Wilds to get into another.
19:00 that was a pro move. well played.
p.s. dont forget the fleeing charges
There are a lot of people on Steam that are upset that you can't shoot people in this game. As a real cop, do you wake up hoping you get to shoot a criminal?
(obviously I know the answer but I find it disturbing so many people think that should be a requirement for a law enforcement simulator)
I definitely have never hoped i get to shoot someone, quite the opposite actually. Always hoping to never have to use my gun.
Yea those people are probably more looking for a shooter game of some kind. I definitely wouldnt mind the GAME to have some higher risk calls even if they didnt amount to a shooting, i do have to draw my weopan regularly at work to be safe but have never used it
Hey there, great content! Just subbed and looking forward to more videos on this game. Try getting the HP expansion.. lot more fun awaits!👍🙂
How’s the update been for everybody? It’s made my game worse. 🤦♂️😂 Still playing though.
Hello ! So I do have a question 🙋♂️ .. let’s say You saw someone in a car get out of the car but not then driver and go into a apartment building with a woman who people think she sells . Then the person leaves the apartment with the driver .. can you stop that car and “search the car “ or the supposed buyer ? Although you did not see the transaction becuase the person went on the apartment..
Nope could not stop the car, best i could do is ask if they would be willing to talk to me. And in washington you need a search warrant to search a car even if you were to see drugs in it
24 episodes and you haven't shot someone for no reason, are you sure your a cop? 🤣
Just to give you a heads up, your missing out on a lot of crimes content by not having the 'Highway Patrol' DLC active bro.
Call-outs added to patrols by Highway DLC:
- set up and supervise road block
- find stolen car
- find wanted driver
- find suspicious driver
- remove road debris
- weigh station (only on highway patrols)
- Highway accident (only on highway patrols)
Other crimes added by highway DLC
- car theft (City patrols only, citizens steal cars in front you while on patrol, you can use non lethal to stop them entering the vehicle, if they end up in the vehicle they must be stopped by pursuit tactics)
- a number of new arrestable offences related to trucks (listed below in a section about what trucks add)
- fleeing drivers (some drivers flee when pulled over or blipped and must be stopped by pursuit tactics)
Other tasks/ powers added by Highway DLC
- cars on fire at Major and Highway accidents (use the fire extinguisher trunk tool to put them out)
- new vehicles (IPV - the old highway patrol crown vic and EPV - a SUV equipped with a catch net on the front to stop fleeing drivers)
- Pursuit tactics (see below for a list of allowed pursuit tactics)
- Trucks (there is a number of new arrestable offences and traffic violations added by the addition of trucks, see below for a section on just trucks)
- issuing driving ban (see truck section below)
- felony traffic stops (once a fleeing vehicle has been disabled the driver will either exit the vehicle and run, in which case you must use non lethal to apprehend, or they will remain in the vehicle, in which case you must aim at the vehicle with your firearm to order the driver out of the vehicle, once out the driver will lay on the floor with their hands above their head waiting for you to approach)
Pursuit tactics - the allowed pursuit tactics are
- PIT manoeuvre
- spike strips
- call for roadblock ahead (you can only have 1 roadblock active at a time so if the fleeing vehicle changes direction you must call for a new roadblock)
- TPAC ('boxing in' in the USA, obviously this requires a partner to execute successfully)
Trucks - here is a list of new offences and powers introduced by trucks
- when asking for driving documents you can request a 'ELD', a logging device giving the drivers driving info and vehicle load manifest.
- zero tolerance on alcohol on commercial drivers is activated.
- driving ban, when operating a weigh station if a truck is overweight you can ban the driver from driving for a short period after issuing a fine for overweight load.
- new fines, undeclared load and overweight load.
- new arrestable offences
- transporting stolen goods
- transporting counterfeit goods
- transporting illegal weapons
- transporting animal furs
- transporting narcotics
Other points of note
- trucks are treated the same as cars parked on the sidewalk when towing is requested at an accident or after arrest and are not removed immediately.
- driving ban is in the 'let go' section of the interaction wheel, i have not attempted to ban a driver who i am arresting as im not sure if issuing the ban also releases the person.
- you lose CP points if any civilians are caught up in a pursuit or by your use of pursuit tactics.
- points earned from Highway patrol shifts go towards the current district your in progression, there is no Highway progression tree like the districts, all Highway DLC content is unlocked instantly on activation.
Great work with the series its quite an enjoyable watch 👏
P.s set your trunk tools up wisely or you may not be fully able to service certain incidents.
Oh wow. Didnt know it added that to the city patrols as well.
@@GamerCop yeah, i was playing it like yourself and wasnt bothered with the highway patrol dlc until i finished the main quest line in the city and was surprised by how much it added to the game all around.
15:45 blows my mind every time. You cannot tow a car for being the wrong direction but you can for expired plates. what's the actual law on that? driving the wrong way on the road can put peoples lives in danger. Why is a registration expired? Well, 9 out of 10 times around here it's for failure to perform emission inspection. Don't get me wrong, i love the environment and all but i should think driving head on into moving traffic is a more immediate threat wouldn't you?
As a state safety inspection mechanic, boy does that get me on a rant if you have the time. Our state law mandates emission inspections every 2 years. Our neighbor state mandates SAFETY inspections EVERY YEAR. Ok, so in some states maybe that car really shouldn't be on the road. But can you tow a car in a routine traffic stop for expired plates? Hmmm, i think im goin back to game.........
In washington you cant tow for wrong direction but if a regsitartion is more than 45 days expired yoi can tow tge vehicle (we typically domt though) but it is strange
