These seem to be right up my alley. I have similar driver configs in other IEMs and I know what it's capable of. Plus the tuning and refinement of this IEM seem to be excellent
I have the IMR RAH which has a DD + planar + piezoelectric, and I have the LZ A7 with 1DD + 4BA + 2 piezoelectric. I also own quite a few others with similar hybrid driver setups. I don't have any others with the exact driver configuration that the Kiwi Ears Quintet does, though.
In other words, I only have tribrids so far. The Quintet would be my first quadbrid.
it’s still my favorite iem i have, i just tested it with the new hidizs s8 pro robin and it was killer
i think any of these combos with dd especially just make sense and is quite interesting. treble resolution is just stellar on the quintet

I've been using the Truthear Zero (blue) for a week now, but it feels like it's missing something. My goal is to play games and listen to music. I like to listen to quality music while resting after being tired.This is my first time using IEM headphones.I want to evaluate it while the spring sales have started. Can you recommend me a nice model? My budget is maximum 400$. I just want to put on my headphones and have fun. I want to play games, listen to music and watch movies. Please help me on this issue, I have no idea.

Tbh this iem was more impressive than the planars around its price.

I like bass (but not crazy about it) n doesn't like high frequency sound that harsh or stabing my ears

i only tried there flagship the sony ier-z1r in japan before. I remember the bass being really great but the midrange was slightly step back. I also took notes saying the treble was enhanced.
I think sony will have more fun punchy and boosted bass but vocals especially female ones will overall sound better on quintet
may I ask are they good in gaming like competitive gaming ?

I use spinfit w1 tips.
i tried moondrop variation tips, the dunu titan s ones, the moondrop spring tips, spinfit CP360. I would like to find ones like moondrop variations probably the most optimal one
How do they sound for gaming?
my mic messed up and i think i forgot to post that part. Soundstage is really good things sound far apart. the imaging i had no problem playing valorant center imaging is very good, hearing people above and below also easy. easy recommend especially for how detailed it sounds in separating tons of noise cues at the same time

i am using crinical red zero
my main focus is great and crisp quality of sound and music no hissy ness or missing any deatils. under 270$ if you anthing in mind other than these mention below pls suggest.

I have heard both, I prefer the Quintet as the vocals and midrange is better. But the A5000 soundstage and imaging is impressive
