Now I know why Neuvillette interrupted the trial and stopped Childe. Childe may have been on the brink of losing himself to "it", and either Neuvillette sensed it or he just noticed something was wrong and intervened with the surprise attack

@@pearvar77 Neuvillette was pretty chill with the robots being easily destroyed by Childe's delusion, but it was only when Childe transformed that his attitude changed. However that is n the main focus. He main focus is that the machine that was supposed to give a fair trial did not give Childe a fair trial. That does play a factor In he scene that comes right after

Yeah what's the deal with that? In inazuma archon quest we've seen countless times that being separated from your vision leads to losing your memories and your sense of purpose
@@TheTsaqifI think there’s a difference between having your vision forcibly taken, and relinquishing it of your own free will.
For example, Diluc spent a couple years seeking revenge and answers without his vision, only a delusion- I believe in his alternate outfit. After he returned, he started using his vision again, but it doesn’t look like he was any worse for wear.
I imagine it’s similar in this situation, Childe is purposefully leaving his vision behind, but it wasn’t stolen from him.

@@kohakkanuva3224 okay I've just read the genshin wiki, lmao yes i am THAT curious. It states that the loss of vision effects may vary. There's this one martial artist in inazuma, iwakura mitsunari that willingly surrendered his vision to shogun and yes, he still lose his sense of purpose and memories and even his martial arts teaching, but others like itto that lost his vision due to losing his duel with sara remained his normal self, same goes with kuki whose willingly gave out her vision, she doesn't experience any side effect whatsoever. So i guess there are some inconsistencies within the lore regarding this phenomenon 😕

The “it” is definitely connected to the abyss. Maybe it’s something that our twin (abyss leader) uses to control abyss monsters and make them obey them? It is weird how every single abyss creature seems to obey them. Childe did get affected by the abyss, and showed great strength, so maybe this “it” is trying to call him back into the abyss?? To convince him to fight along side them? And since the abyss hates gods, “it” stopped Childe’s vision from working as visions are seen as a gift from Celestia? Just a theory.

I legit love how their first meeting in Fontain mirrors his Story Quest. In that one, he ignored the Traveler for a long time to talk to his brother before FINALLY acknowledging them, saying, "Don't take it personally. In Schneznean culture, family always comes first." Yet here ?? The *second* he sees the Traveler he drops everything to have a nice long friendly chat wirh them, while telling the gang he was just talking to to piss off and wait till he's done talking to her. Really shows how far their relationship has come. ❤️

He also described the place he saw the whale in as a “sea,” not an ocean or river or any other body of water, but a sea.
Coincidence? I think not.
It was also described as the “deepest depths of the sea,” which could just be for theatrics, but the Primordial Sea was said to no longer be found on the surface.
Before anyone mentions the Primordial Sea appearing in Fontaine and Childe falling in Sneznaya, Neuvillette mentioned the Primordial sea nurturing most of the life on the planet, from which we can assume its influences stretch further than just Fontaine.

Not all Fatuus are the same, The Chasm underground shows that, also they committed a very fresh crime, hence why the traveler who was supposed to defend them got surprised. What Childe did was a plan that was obviously going to backlash

I'm confused with all this separating with your vision stuffs...in inazuma quest we learn that losing your vision is a big thing and it always leads to you losing your sense of purpose in life, but here childe was just casually handing it out to us with no repercussions as we've seen in the pt 2 of the quest where he's still his normal self?
It’s because Raiden was taking their visions unwillingly. Childe handed us his vision willingly. He knows he can get it back whenever he needs to again. So he’s not stressing over it.
My theory on this is that he didnt get his vision from the hydro archon but from the abyss! Cuz in his character story, it is said that the abyss sensed his great ambition!
Moreover, his hydro power is malfunctioning, and we knew from the quest that it has something to do with the primordial water and the "it" from the abyss!
Another thing i noticed is that they didnt mentioned in his character profile how he got his vision but instead, they mentioned his delusion! While every other character has a story about their vision!

Nope, this is probably his Abyss powers trying to take over. Abyss power is naturally contrary the powers of the "world of light", so it's quite possible that his abyss powers are growing stronger and erasing the powers of his vision.
THere's an old line about the Abyss that states that this power corrupts intelligence. Meaning abyss may be trying to corrupt child and transform him into an Abyss fiend like the many others we faced.
And that would explain Skirk's mysterious words to Childe

Yeah I'm still confused by it, so only delusion bearer could negate the effect of losing their vision? Does delusion also contains your ambition and your sense of self? We've seen countless times when ei robbed someone of their vision, they tend to lose any purpose in life, and that delusion is just a downgraded version of a vision that doesn't really contain your ambition, only your thirst for power as seen in sangonomiya quest with that one soldier that uses delusion. Hope someone can explain this to me 😅
