Sometimes in Korean, the sentence is very short, but translated it becomes _really_ long ... I love Wonjae in SMTM6 so much that I took the time to translate his stage performance as best I could :D

Korean has crazy societal stigmas about mental health. Wonjae's openness about is not only brave and refreshing, but his success as a new artist whose willing to be so public about his experiences, and capable of such eloquence, is important. Yeah I was sad CoDean didn't pick up Wonjae, but seeing how JK and Bizzy takes special care of Wonjae, I realized that this might have been a better choice than going to CoDean. Wonjae has a very distinct, dark style, and JK&Bizzy has been always making sure to produce beats that suit their smol beanie boy. Like during the group performance, they literally carved out a part of their beat just so Wonjae could do his rap. I think if Wonjae went to CoDean, he might have not gotten to show his full potential due to the hype rap style of their group and got buried or eliminated earlier :)

This is one of the reasons why I respect Tiger JK so much, he came to this show not all his focus on being the winning team but to actually look for unknown talent and help them build their music and their character. Technically he doesn't even need to do this he's already done enough for hip hop in Korea and can just sit back and enjoy life with his family but nope he still continues to search for people and give them support in their music. Thats why he is always the greatest rapper in Korea to me no matter what.

I am all in for wonjae, ever since hash swan was eliminated without being able to perform on the big stage (ONCE AGAIN). Wonjae was the least famous among most contestants, has the most unique style, raps about meaningful subjects ... he deserves every bit of fame and support. It's either him or nucksal for me now.
you can see how the experience of TJK and Bizzy are bigger than the other producers in this show. TigerJK always watching Woo Wonjae, a diamond, a rising star with own colors, with courage to talk about these type of things. (not rapping about he's the best, money) Trap and trendy music gets forgotten someday. Real lyrics like this one lives forever in the hearts of the people who struggles every day with his own demons.

물론 분위기는 프로듀서 피처링이 우원재가 하는 랩의 분위기랑은 전혀 맞지가 않았음. 어두운 분위기에 약간의 빛을 섞었지만 모든 어둠을 한줄기의 빛이 깬다는 말과 같이 그 분위기를 한번에 흐렸음. 하지만 jk가 없었다면 우원재 자체가 발굴되지 않았고 한명의 천재는 또다시 어두운 세상속에 갇혀 살았을 수 있기에 이 점만큼은 인정해주고 싶음. 그리고 프로듀서들 실력이 결코 안좋은게 아니라 단지 분위기에 맞지 않았다는것뿐. 결론은 이 피처링은 좋지 못했지만 프로듀서들 그 자체를 욕하는건 별로 안좋다고 생각함.
2년이나 지났지만 2년전부터 지금까지 이 곡을 정말 좋아하고, 프로듀서를 비판하는 댓글들이 많이 보여서 제 나름대로 노래를 몇번씩 보고 들으면서 곡 해석을 적어내봤습니다. 처음 우원재 벌스 : 자신이 하고 있는 끝없는 고민의 공회전, 그리고 "다 그러고 살아. 고민말고 대충 살아" 라고 말하는 세상 사람들의 조언이란 이름의 압박. 그리고 마지못해 빈말을 하는 우원재 마샬 부분 : 사실은 우원재의 워너비, 하고 싶은말, 우원재가 되고 싶은 "나" 프로듀서 부분 : 고민의 공회전을 하는 우원재에 대해 해주는 조언 "네가 멈추지 않는 이상 음악은 멈추지 않는단다" 우원재의 답가 : 그래 형 나는 고민의 공회전을 하고 있었다. 그리고 이제는 내가 하고 싶은 말 할래 = 가짜와 가짜가 만나도 가짜가 둘이기를 (껍데기로 얼버무려서 우리 인생의 고뇌를 덮지 말자. 고뇌와 철학은 중요하고 껍데기는 껍데기다) 마지막 마샬 마무리 : 과거의 우원재 같이 혼자의 고뇌에 빠져있는 사람에게 너는 혼자가 아니라고 전해준다 ------------------------------------------------- 곡해석 이외에 여기 계신분들에게 전하고 싶은점 : 1. 위 구성은 이미 타이거형님이 짜 놓았을겁니다 곡명도 "또"이고 이 곡은 전반부, 턴, 후반부가 있어야하는 곡입니다 2. 1번은 사실이지만, 한 가지 문제 아닌 문제가 있었다면 우원재의 가사가 너무 완전했고, 프로듀서의 턴 부분이 아쉬웠다 타이거 형님의 훅이 너무 목소리가 개성이 넘치셨다 + 우원재의 가사가 너무 깊어서 비지가 충분한 대답을 가사로 못 했다

this song's vibe suits wonjae more than blacknine, i mean it sounds like its originally designed for wonjae w/o considering black9 (personally), maybe its not and if its not then its really good job of wonjae for fitting into this track so nicely props to mashal for making this song track beautiful too
Jia Zheng In the show it seemed like he producers were pushing black nine to try and open up in his music bc lyrically, despite his absolutely sick flow, he's been kinda shallow. Not that there's much wrong with that (I honestly think wonjae's the only one trying to convey what he actually feels in his music) but Coach JK, being the legend he is, is trying to push these artists above the competition and trying to help them develop self identity. Despite that, yeah the beat was definitely in wonjae's favor, but it was also a great chance for black nine to grow

그때 우원재에 한참 빠져들때는 우원재 파트가 아닌 JK, 비지의 훅파트가 거슬리게 느껴졌는데
지금 생각해보니 이 파트가 없었으면 그저 우울한 현실을 읊다가 결국 우울함에 덮쳐지는 결말의 음악이 되었을거 같다.
무대 위에서 비지와 주고받으며 노래하는 원재의 모습이나 JK, 비지와 함께 무대를 걸으면서 웃는 원재의 모습을 보면

Yeah I was sad CoDean didn't pick up Wonjae, but seeing how JK and Bizzy takes special care of Wonjae, I realized that this might have been a better choice than going to CoDean.
Wonjae has a very distinct, dark style, and JK&Bizzy has been always making sure to produce beats that suit their smol beanie boy. Like during the group performance, they literally carved out a part of their beat just so Wonjae could do his rap. I think if Wonjae went to CoDean, he might have not gotten to show his full potential due to the hype rap style of their group and got buried or eliminated earlier :)

This is one of the reasons why I respect Tiger JK so much, he came to this show not all his focus on being the winning team but to actually look for unknown talent and help them build their music and their character. Technically he doesn't even need to do this he's already done enough for hip hop in Korea and can just sit back and enjoy life with his family but nope he still continues to search for people and give them support in their music. Thats why he is always the greatest rapper in Korea to me no matter what.

this song's vibe suits wonjae more than blacknine, i mean it sounds like its originally designed for wonjae w/o considering black9 (personally), maybe its not and if its not then its really good job of wonjae for fitting into this track so nicely

Jia Zheng In the show it seemed like he producers were pushing black nine to try and open up in his music bc lyrically, despite his absolutely sick flow, he's been kinda shallow. Not that there's much wrong with that (I honestly think wonjae's the only one trying to convey what he actually feels in his music) but Coach JK, being the legend he is, is trying to push these artists above the competition and trying to help them develop self identity. Despite that, yeah the beat was definitely in wonjae's favor, but it was also a great chance for black nine to grow
