Story 5: that Karen literally judged books by their covers. I’m willing to bet her idea of literature “with substance” are catalogs and whatever’s on her phone screen.
I think I missed some of the “Do It For Dan” story. Would anyone know where to find some parts of the story? I think the last part I caught was dealing with a Christmas party at OPs new house. Thank you very much in advance for any links anyone can give me.
all I can say is while I am a bibliophile, I did not appreciate the "classics" until about 10 yrs out of high school. then I discovered Dickens, Tolstoy, and Murasaki (tale of genji). never could get into dostoevsky tho.
My oldest grandson came at 7 months. He only stayed n the icu unit for 2 weeks. He weighed 4 pounds when he came home. It depends on the health of the baby as how long one stays in the hospital. Normally a baby born a few days early doesn’t stay over 3 days. My daughter was born 3 weeks early. She came home with me. All my babies were induced & came home when I did. My doctor didn’t let me go over my due date due to the fact I had trouble in delivery.
I was born at 30 weeks, with blood poisoning all thru my system, and weighing 3 lb. 11 oz.. The doctors told my parents I wouldn't make it. I went home 4 weeks later, weighing 4 lb. 11 oz. 60 years later, I'm still here!
Title Story: NO. Those service animals are not free. Depending on the school and training, they cost up to $80,000 US. The people that receive and benefit from the service animals do not have to bear that cost because donations from generous supporters and government funding pay the costs. I am blind but have elected not to get a service animal. I would rather the funding go to pay for research into a cure for my condition or that those incredibly expensive service animals go to a person that needs it more than I do. Please do not ever touch, distract or interfere with a service animal. You could be putting a person's life in danger if the service animal is distracted from their work.
@@Ausgar-yc1yl You sound like a person that would argue that black is white. Go back and read my comment. It is correct. Do you think that just because the disabled people do not pay for their service animals that they are free? No. They are trained by highly skilled professionals. The costs involved are considerable.
Holy Cow, story 3!
I guess some guys never learn that a quick buck never is as good as a hard days work.

Title story: Who elected Karen to be the disability police?
Herself? 😉
the O.P. in this story is doing the right thing so I don't blame the O.P. none

Wrong, service dogs CAN be free, and you can also train you own service dog.

Oh there was no such thing as skin to skin when my babies were born & they did just fine.
Were your kids preemie? If so, then I'm sorry you didn't know the benefits skin-to-skin could've given them.
same here, my son was a 7month, and was in icu for 3 months until gained his older sisters birth weight, [7pound 11 ounces]
Yet you left us hanging by not saying anything about the "Bronze T"? Not cool!
