I can definitely vouch that those are real. Bird noises you're hearing. We are also in upstate New York, a couple of hours South of where Alicia and her family Live but I have to say for some reason this year. The birds are very vocal, just like they are at her house. Not sure why. But they seem to be more vocal this year than they have in years past and I have low vision. So I can definitely tell the difference between last year's bird population in our area in this year. And it is like almost sounds like it doubled crazy.
