In the IFun pro app... If you go back and forth between beginner mode and set distance mode you can hack the distance to 2000m. This Beast 2 drone has a 4k Sony camera. I think it's the internal hardware that limits the video quality to 2k. At 7.51 volts down the video starts to break up. So with this drone. Do all your videos early on the trip and get your stills later.
Yes, You can change on the app screen (only). But the drone still stops on 1360 meters on the display, ~833 meter in reality (see my other comment about the distance bug).
Very nice, I just got my 2 axis a few days ago without knowing the 3 axis existed. I am assuming there is no difference besides the gimbal and the 3800mah battery what fits the 2 axis anyway. Either way I've already ordered in 8dbi pcb antennas for it
Nice review Got my beast 3 last week took to desert today. Was gustying at 30 mph. Beast really struggle could not fly into the wind so definitely not a hi wind drone.
Hello, thanks for your reviews on this drone! I picked one up recently, first time drone user. I find it easy to fly, been flying it around my back yard, having fun with it. My problem is, my cell phone is not 5G only 4G. I'm thinking of picking up another phone that is 5G wifi compatible since I really want to keep and use this drone. I would only use that phone with the drone, do not need to have a cell phone plan for calls and stuff, my current phone is all I need for that. Do you have any suggestions for me? I can pick up cheap "5G" phones (used) on Ebay, but would have to make sure that 5G is wifi, not only cellular, right? Btw, I like your videos, like the music in them, subscribed!

@@tunglamhon5420 Buy a small 10 to 15cm 5g wifi extension lead and cut off the fitting you don't need. Strip it back and separate the center wire and the earth outer wire. Carefully unsolder the internal antenna wire from the tiny circuit board and solder on the 'new cable with the socket' keeping the same polarity. Drill a suitable hole in the plastic case to install the socket so as to mount the 8db antenna in the middle aiming forward. Then screw it into the new antenna socket with the lead connected inside. Once fitted the antenna can pivot down or up a bit and you hold it vertical and watch the WiFi bars on the controller to get the distance

For average user the range is fine, but! Even with electric camera adjustment and Mechanical 3axis Gimbal the video is unstable from drone moves, camera positioning and motor vibrations. When will this be fixed ZLRC?

If you open your remote control you will find the Wi-Fi antenna the one that looks like a blackcat firecracker, right inside of the middle of remote and it's supposed to be right inside the foldable hollow plastic antenna thats on you RC and I also took the antenna plastic out and flipped it straight up now its not sideways like your, its straight up and I put the wifi antenna right in the hollow plastic antenna 📡 and also I can unplug the wifi antenna wire it's not soldered so I and you or anybody can get a better stronger antenna and plug it on no soldering. But some of these remote control RC antenna are soldered not plug. if you do this your FPV won't lag and you will hit the geo fencing with no lagging.
It seems the distance bug is still in the system, like in my SG906Pro. The distance is incorrect in the app and in the Remote Control display. time 4:30 distance 980 meter, location 4.237236, 100.645476 time 9:23 distance 0 meter, location 4.235329, 100.640415 difference by app/Remote control =980 meter difference by gmaps ~600 meter.

Bro I don't go further than 300 km I got to try to go further, I went max height and got scared it looked like it didn't want to go back down to me it was going higher but it was windy and it did went down.
That’s literally the slowest drone I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t look like it’s moving at all. One thing I’ve learned about drones. You get what you pay for. If your into flying long distances wo worrying about losing your drone, get you a autel or dji.
It seemed like the drone hit a geofence and hovered in the same place for most of the video until return to home was hit. 🤔 Cool video though and my friend just bought this drone.
Mine too, with a new Xiaomi Redmi 9 with 4gb ram and 68gb rom octacore etc i cant go more than 150 meters, the video freeze in the app and need to return to home, land and reinitiate again

Cool video! I had the previous version and it was pretty cool. I think the new 3 axis gimbal makes a lot of difference.

My video was lagging all the time and I just reached about 300m distance before I lost the video connection. There was like nothing in-between
