S7-1200 PLC CPU1214C has 06 Nos. HSC for Single Phase, Counting Operation.
If I need 10 nos, How to add the Additional 04 Nos? What Module or Signal Board I should use?

This HSC(high speed counter) read pulses right? does that mean the 1200 cpu receives fast pulses as input when hsc is enabled? thanks in advance...... I'm just checkinn because I'm about to program a pulse reader for a bill acceptor (APEX5000) on a pulse mode.

In a ladder diagram. It already have two high speed counters. What does it mean by DIR, PERIOD, NEW_PERIOD, NEW_DIR, NEW_CV, NEW_RV, BUSY AND STATUS?
