Garlic and cottage cheese as a pizza sauce? That is quite interesting, and it does look good. As a person with a mixed Slavic ancestry, that also has Polish and Ukrainian in it, I grew up with cottage cheese and garlic. Cheers!
@@johnterczak9256 My late, paternal grandmother was half Polish and half Ukrainian. She taught me how to make pierogies, when I was a child. One kind had cottage cheese and potatoes as a filling. That's why I think parboiled potatoes would work on a pizza with that sauce as a base. My late, paternal grandparents were from Galicia, by the Polish/Ukrainian border. My late, paternal grandfather had a Polish sounding surname, and also had Ukrainian, and maybe Russian in his roots. My late, maternal grandfather was from Poland, and he lived and worked in Chicago, in the early 1900s, before he came to Canada, where his two older sisters, and their husbands came before he did. My late, maternal grandmother was born in Canada, and her parents were from Czechoslovakia. I enjoyed great Slavic food, for sure. Cheers!
