At the end of the video, you see me (the panda) get real mad. The call in question is at 13.20-13.24 for the stabs in question

Yeah bud they clearly communicated in the moment what was going on. The fighter is backpedaling and uses the dead arm, which is why he calls "arm, dead arm pierced, light on the second". Ultimately all fighters determine what hits they take.

@@redkaladin6864thank you for explaining what I already knew, bud.
I saw the communication, but it didn't look light to me or many other people.
Hence why it's my job as a herald to question it and ask him, otherwise herald are just glorified spectators.
We did ultimately let it go and not restart the fight, cause the herald assigned to the fight didn't see it (they were behind the fighter)

@@fofoforrest the marshals job is to call things that can't be seen (like that crossbow shot earlier on Talon) and ensure fighting is safe. Marshals shouldn't be making hit calls if the fighters are communicating.

@@redkaladin6864 people make disingenuous calls or don't register shots with adrenaline pumping all the time. It is exactly the marshals job to make calls in the best faith possible regardless of active communication

Nah, you let your personal feelings get in between you and your responsibility as a marshal. Every fighter determines the threshold for what they're willing to take. The other team didn't want to refight, confirming that the person we're talking about didn't make a bad call.
