Please remember that they've all known each other for almost a decade, he's been in the same company as them since they were trainees and is very close with all of them especially Jin, Jimin and Hoseok! He's really like an older brother to all of them. So this video is them messing with him like little brothers would, they just found it funny that their close friend was trying to manage them and were trying to get him to break his 'serious manager' character 😂😂 they were never actually making fun of him or being disrespectful or anything bad!!

Oh my gosh the water, that was one thing I had to get used to in Korea about asking for water. If you ask for water sometimes they'll bring you barley tea and be like "it's water." and I was always so nervous speaking Korean to begin with so I'd just be like "okay." I don't know why it's like that? I remember asking someone later why they did that and I think they said it's just better nutritionally? It doesn't really taste like anything so I ended up getting used to it lol

i think the word manager maybe throws people a little. in terms of the power dynamic, they’re not like their boss, at least not now they’re adults. my understanding is it’s so they can get on with doing their actual job (performing, interviews, recording, etc). i think the managers all have different roles too. seems like they’re organisers and making sure everything is on track and in some circumstances that is like a pa role - making sure they’re fed, coordinating w/wardrobe & make up, sometimes like a bodyguard, a driver. but i think some can be way more involved than even this. each member has a personal manager too. but they’re adults and they’re bts, i think it’s always important to remember when watching any content. at the end of the day, and as humble as they are, these people work FOR bts.

BTS has several managers, Each has its post, Bang Si-hyuk is the owner of the company, he won't be giving water to BTS, There's already someone to do this.
Even today it amazes me to know that there are still people who think that BTS are actors since they started their career in BTS.

Just so you know, BTS I don’t think treats their management disrespectfully. Because Lee Hyun isn’t ACTUALLY a manager, and this is just a joke/for laughs, they are clowning Hyun this whole time. They are very close friends with each other for many, many years, so they can mess with each other and both parties take nothing personally 😂But yeah for background info, before BTS was a even a thing BigHit had no artists just under them. Most of the artists BigHit had before BTS were co-owned by another company, that’s how small and poor BigHit was back then. Anyway, BigHit co-owned artists, such as their old girl group Glam who they co-owned with Source Music from 2012-2015, so during BTS’ rookie years. BigHit also co-owned a boy group 2AM from 2012-2014, who they co-owned with JYP Entertainment. (Bang PD and JYP Entertainment have a HUGE history so if you want me to get into that whole relationship and history just leave a comment down below!) Anyway, another group BigHit co-owned from Source Music from 2007-2014, was a co-ed trio group named 8Eight. Lee Hyun was a member of 8Eight. After 8Eight stopped being a group due to various reasons, such as military service for the two men in the group, Lee Hyun continued under BigHit as a solo artist. Lee Hyun is a vocalist who does lots of ballads. They are beautiful, but I also adore ballads so I’m a little biased 😂 Anyway, yeah that’s how BTS members and Lee Hyun know each other and are so close because they’ve known each other and were artists together since the beginning of BTS being just a concept. It’s pretty cool! They’re super tight 😂 But yeah Lee Hyun is the conductor guy BTS were chatting with in your latest video about the BigHit photo shoot!
