It's Thursday today and I typed this comment Tuesday ago on Kim Hyeon Chul's song Neighborhood (at another upload) because it's Jung Hwan and Deuk Sun's song!!! I wanna share this comment in some other JH and DS related videos because why not? 😂 i immediately fell in love with this song when watching reply 1988. This is my most favorite song in the show because I love DS AND JH!!! I relate to Jung Hwan so much because of being hesitant to my crush for two years and he turned out to like someone else after trying hard to be close to me. I just kept avoiding him because I was scared of everything turning out serious and I was scared of actually being with him for real but unlike JH and DS, we weren't even close to begin with! And since they were close, I WAS ALWAYS SO MAD AT JUNG HWAN CAUSE HE'S MADLY IN LOVE BUT SO STUBBORN. HE LIVES JUST ABOVE HIS FIRST LOVE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I kept swearing in my mind and being so irritated on how hard it was for him to make a move. But I realized later that there really are people like this not because me and him were both like that but because the burst of real, insane, and actual love is hard to bear and not all can just do something about whoever they're interested in immediately. And though, it's been 5 or 4 years since we met face to face, I now reminisce how heartbroken I was for not being courageous and was very weak at that time. Anyway, it's fine because that was first year highschool! 😂😂 I fully accept the ending Jung Hwan received because I relate to him. However, him learning the lesson we both had doesnt compare to the fact that I lost a highschool crush and he lost a quarter of his lifetime crush. It took me a lot of time to move on from a "crush"... so imagine him enduring the face of being alright with his two best friends being together forever. It hurt so much for me but you have no idea how much pity I have for JH. Now at episode 19... I'm not ready to watch the last episode........ wish me luck 😭
dude, that's my fave scene too!!! timestamp is 47:23 (I think???) in yeah, episode 12. I searched for this song really because of that Jung Hwan and Deuk Sun going veeery early to school scene. What if he smiled just right before that scene ended? When DS just put her head on his shoulder and he looked out the window with a big smile would have reeeeeally made my heart melt. It could have been an iconic scene too because he's so cute when he smiles!! 😭😭😭😭
