A very good and fair review. At the price point, this is again a serious offering from Rizzini. Custom fitting is a must and from personal experience, the welcome and hospitality from the Rizzini family and Gianfilippo Adamati is second to none. They value their uk customers, as I’m sure they do everyone. Well worth the time and investment.
A fine looking gun. I watched the 'Rizzini' video and it was brilliant to see a collaborative workforce in a region to complete guns. Fascinating a friend of mine has purchased an apartment not far from there. Might have to call in a favour or two!!!!
Man, I can't help but get a little jealous that the base BR460 you folks over in the UK get is that little bit nicer than in North America. When it crosses the pond, it gets a price increase, loses the gloss bluing for matte black (who pays $7k for a cerakoted O/U?), and a rather unsightly importer engraving.
I have had a BR ,for about six months now ,, great gun , fits me well , no issues , safety was a little tight ,but it is getting better . Great gun for the money
Hello Johnny! Awesome review, and the Rizzini BR460 Boss is a pleasant beast of gun. I am a proud owner of one, and it is a clay dusting machine! My BR460 came with an adjustable stock, excellent upgrade. Keeping doing what you do, and thank you for your insight.
I handled a couple of rizzinis for the first time yesterday, absolutely loved the feel of the BR110; however, the second one felt awful to open the action, very badly fitted. I tried 3 Berettas and the actions on those felt identical, that tells me Rizzini needs some qc and Beretta has it down.
That's probably a pretty well specced comb for adding an adjustable kit. It's pretty parallel, and low enough you probably won't need to bottom it out with the kit in it (which defeats the kit's purpose). Would probably even work well for trap if you don't mind a little space between the beads.
Great tutorial Johnny, as always you went through this gun with such detail now I want one a great flavor of a clay smasher. As always I cannot wait to see what your going to bring to the table. Cheer's Johnny Cheer's....
Vuelvo a repetir NO entiendo nada de lo que dice ,y si me gustaría entender ese relato de la marca Rizzini sus bondades y sus defectos de esa manera podría aconsejar a algunos amigos que son tiradores,y pueden ser potenciales compradores.
I’ve been looking at various guns as I need a new gun at some point Rizzini offer a hell of a lot of gun for the money very much like zoli offering a boss style gun for around 4.5 - 5k mark the only one for sale in the south is at west london shooting school this gun is certainly a contender over a Ceasar Guerini Invictus for me.
Question .To have the custom fit Rizzini experience and coming away with your own unique gun is without doubt a beautiful thing but an off the shelf br460, maybe value wise a Miroku MK38 grade 5 would be a better option.?
Was lent one to shoot once and although I enjoyed using it it was very heavy, not too heavy mind, but heavier than what I was used to. Did manage to make the trigger fall out when I accidentally pushed the safety too far forward 😂Also had very nice wood. But at my level of shooting I’m not good enough to notice a difference in performance between it and my beretta 686E
Another solid review 👌. Nice and honest as always. Rizzini are on my list for my next purchase, it is however a long list with lots of different shotguns on there. Could do with whittling it down somewhat 😂
Hi Johnny, an achingly honest opinion as usual, and that's why we all watch you! I was honestly on the point of buying one of these but I've hit a speed wobble now. You seem totally underwhelmed by this gun compared to previous hints at how brilliant it was?? ie The WP Prestige and your factory tour snip-its? Put these in order of your preference SHOOTING WISE for sporting clays please. Invictus 1 ascent BR440/460 Beretta 694 31" Anniversary used DT11 SPORTER I'd made up my mind till I saw this video🤔🤔🤔

@@tgsoutdoors you Sir, are having way too much fun and making too much money. Fair play to you, keep up the good work! PS I'd still like to see Lloyds take on the 460😁
Hey johnny boy, can you do a review of the Bettinsoli diamond X sporting please? I had a look at a good 20+ guns at my local gun shop and this one really stood out, I think you will like it
In the UK, what POI is preferred for trap ? Here in the US it’s a minimum of 60/40 with a preference of 70/30 or more. Your vid’s never disclose what is available.
Hiya mate just been given a shotgun by a company called spandau don't know much about just know its supposed to be German wud you consider doing a video on the company we are in the process of transferring it to my licence a well respected farmer in my area given it to me
You don’t have to kiss Rizzinis butt anymore. You saw the errors in your way and that’s that. I bought a FAIR Iside 16 gauge two weeks ago. Really nice gun for the money. FAIR is a Rizzini company.
What did you mean by, "They also make this action with other people's name and engraving on them..."? As in, Rizzini manufacturers guns for other companies and it's this same action just rebranded?
@@tgsoutdoors thanks! Makes sense. I just have troubles figuring out if any other guns are the same built quality as Perazzi and Krighoef (not looking at ingravings, just pure mechanical/function)
I’m sure the residual value of Perazzi and Krieghoff will be more robust , I own a Perazzi HTS really rate it, my bad weather gun is and adjustable Beretta 694 again great gun , should be able to pick a new adjustable up for between £3400-£3600 if you shop around or fully customisable for plus 20% with a great trip to Italy with your preferred gun shop , in the £3500- £5500 price range you are really spoilt for choice, personally I think Perazzi and Krieghoff takes a lot of beating.

They should engrave them Riz and set up and importer called Zini
The marks them would be more palatable
Sounds a lot like what happens to Yildiz Pro guns on the voyage here.
Too true!

Great video 👍 definitely going to have at look at one of these in a gun shop and see how she feels
My Beretta S682X Trap is 8 pounds 10 and it is a superb sporter….for my style of sporting clays shooting.

Not sure if it’s better value, just different. The MK38 grade 5 is a monster of a gun but this is a different beast.
And price shows why Jonny is the supreme reviewer
Grandissimo fucile, 5 in bacheca favolosi

DT 11 but get a custom Manuel Ricardo stock

What other guns are rebranded Rizzinis???
You don’t have to kiss Rizzinis butt anymore. You saw the errors in your way and that’s that. I bought a FAIR Iside 16 gauge two weeks ago. Really nice gun for the money. FAIR is a Rizzini company.
😂
Fair and B Rizzini are different companies?
But, does being a Rizzini's company make it a Rizzini company?
BR means Batista Rizzini. The BR is top notch.
Very nice looking gun
And it doesn't have a gold trigger........hooray!!
What did you mean by, "They also make this action with other people's name and engraving on them..."? As in, Rizzini manufacturers guns for other companies and it's this same action just rebranded?
Yes, the white label this gun for a few folk
@@tgsoutdoors Can you spill the beans? What other companies use a rebranded BR460?
Yo tengo una y no la cambio por nada es una maravilla
Think it will have its work cut out , Beretta , Browning and Perazzi are all hard to be beat .
It’s an interesting prospect. Anything in that ‘better than good enough’ market has to be a bit special, I think that this is in a few ways.

Great video and beautiful gun ,,, but well above my price point ,,,
John: would you go for an mx2000s or the BR460?
Not quite the same price point to be fair. I would go with the 460 and a custom stock over an off the shelf 2000 for the same price?

Shotgun spelt wrong in title! Great video though!
Probably costs more than my house
How are the trigger pulls on this gun ?
As you would expect of a gun with this style of trigger assembly - very good. 9/10
Finalllyyyy
This gun is going to be my next gun. I'm hoping it will last me the rest of my life and maybe the life of my nephew.
Can you also make hunting videoes
I feel as if I was talked out of a gun. Which gives credit the the channel and I suppose the gun just isn't for me.
Are you going to take it out and shoot it? Or what.
I did, just without a camera. It’s shot on camera in the Rizzini video if you want to see it running.
