so you really interested in the history of Korea, well this most likely the history of Japan but then brother you will be surprised that modern Japanese people (Yamato) who dominated those first and original inhabitants of Japan, Ainu and other that already extinct, were Originated from Korea. yes my friend the early Yamato people were Koreans.

Nice video on early Goryeo! This part of Korean history is kinda underrated/not focused on enough I think in contrast to the Joseon or three kingdoms period. Oh and I have additional suggestions for films and TV shows/popular media set in Goryeo! First the TV show 제국의 아침 Dawn of the Empire, set right after the events of that legendary Taejo Wang Geon TV show, about the great Wang So Emperor Gwangjong. Next the show 무인 시대 Age of Warriors, about the period of the military takeover of Goryeo Korea late 12th century. The show 기황후 Empress Ki, about the Korean Empress Ki who essentially ruled the weakening Mongol Yuan Empire mid-1300s. The film 쌍화점 Ssanghwajeom, set in Goryeo, not necessarily about a historic event but more a realistic fiction; a romance epic or drama would be the best way to describe the film. That's about all the ones I know besides the three you wrote in the description. Anyways cool video! Thanks
Oh and a few corrections. Gyeongjong ruled 975-981 AD. I think you forgot to change the years from Gwangjong's reigning years. And the 800,000 was an exaggeration by general Xiao to make Korea surrender quickly in the brief engagement in 993 (the Khitan were fighting with the Song and not Korea yet, the Khitan were just making sure Korea wouldn't aid the Song at the time). It was in reality around 60,000 soldiers.
