Hello teacher, so you mentioned that the soluble salt crystals formed has to be washed. The thing is, if it is washed, why does it not turn back into liquid form ? Non of my reference book has an answer for this :(
We are using a small amount of wateer to rinse the salt crystal and we will keep the rinsing process short and quick.There will be a small part of crystal dissolves in water again but a big part of it will still in solid form

I would like to ask if the commonly used acid and alkaline is not able to produce out the salt provided by the question, then what acid or alkaline I should use to produce out the salt provided by the question?
For SPM, u will be tested on preparation of salt using common acid and alkali only. In the real world, there are many more acids and alkalis which are available, subject to which salt you want go prepare, then you choose youe material accordingly. Example : To prepare a special salt like Barium ethanoate, you might need to use a special alkali Barium hydroxide and ethanoic acid.

Everything will be the same even u use ZnO, because the salt produced is a soluble salt, so you will still get it in liquid form. Although there is no water produced but not to forget, there are water content in the acid

Most common way to ask is a flow chart question that ask about salt test such as heating test combine with reaction of Acid. For essay, will test on procedure to prepare a salt
btw, we can identify charge of an atom by looking at periodic table. lets say like sodium, Na+. why Na+, why '+', is because Na can dump 1 electron to be stable; why Aluminium, Al3+, because it has to dump 3 electron to be stable; why Chlorine Cl-, it has to take in 1 electron to be stable. ok la for these substances ok, can identify thru their valence electron n so on. but if i move on to transition element, like silver, as u mention on 5:16, how can i identify whether if silver is Ag+ thru periodic table?
Transtion element has multiple oxidation number, you only learn about those concepts in higher level such as STPM, Alevels, Matriculation. In SPM, we need to memorize those charges as early as F4 Chapter 3

The reason of why transition elements have multiple oxidation numbers will be covered in pre-U/college level. @@nobody0-070 yes, in general we have two types of neutralisation reaction. Acid + soluble alkali is known as titration method, which is meant to prepare SPA salt. Acid + insoluble base, carbonate known as acid reaction which is used to prepare soluble salt without SPA. Hope this clarifies

When should we do recrystallisation?
When the salt is impure,we dissolve the salt,do filtration to remove the salt impurities,then make it back to crystal again

Nope.In tiratiom method,the hydroxide is soluble(in liquid form) while for neutralisation method the hydroxide that we used is insoluble (solid form)
