Generally speaking, even if Lowko's voice was masked you could find out it is him with relative ease.

Great cast. The miniscreen on the lower right hand showing simultaneous parts of the maps is a big help for those who get motion sickness of the map scrolling across the map. 👍

Seems like it's better to pull 12 drones for 20 seconds than to lose 4-5 and risk letting a bunker up... hiding those drones was *genius*
31:52... 1500 mineral investment for 4 hatcheries and key tech buildings is always an option for zerg... allowing good reenforcements... one strat I liked ina base trade is building in their old home when you clean them out... to produce from.. .in taht sort of scenario. lol

Is it sad that whenever I see Cure playing I always think of the match you posted where he lost 0-2 to two reaper proxies in 6 minutes? It's at least nice to see him get to play some macro games.

terran down by 100 scv's but still on the same eco, but zvz down by 1 drone and 1 player has the advantage. fucking crazy

Said it for four years, top zerg every got good at double spell casters, you can't stop them

If I was terran, having a few, battle cruisers probably coudl of helped. ot 8 cruiser tech assault, etc. but meh
4 bcs would have drained dark of so much without risking being hardcountered, no idea why pro players prefer thors to it

though those terran tanks are strong the zerg had the advantage of great volume and econ on this one! ughh

Be nice ot see more late game queens, also ot support healing ultras and broods.
I dont know man, Cure's Micro has been decent (for pro level) for the most time in these games, but he made little mistakes again and again. He killed multiple of his own troops by attack moving on a unit accidentally, and attacked his own and map structure in fights accidentally. I dont think you can afford those types of mistakes on this level of sc2.

I've learned never to put faith in Cure. I rooted for Dark because of Cure's propensity to lose, and it came through.
i don't understand why pro players don't always get Concussive Shells, it should be really helpful during the first game a couple of times when ultras were retreating.

@@wicem4 Massive. All Massive Units (IIRC) can't be CC'd
Marauders wouldn't have hurt, Darks last bane rush for example, CC slows the bling down, and allows hellbat to burn it. Once the bats went down, the Thors were naked and strung thin - ling could surround each one, but then he'd made all those infestors...
Thor's counter broods pretty hard: BL mostly draws friendly fire, and trip mines, Dark tanked the mines with Ultra, and abused Infestors to take advantage of the Thors unwieldiness, plus Cure had not much air, and of course, no Marauders.
On a different subject, Z has pretty much no hard counter to Ultras, building spam and brood to slow it down, while, stutterstepping upgraded StiMMMs is well known to kill pretty much everything.
Brilliant timing in that last engagement, but great map control to set it up, full on lategame Z, love to see it! 😭
I'll never feel ok about watching a ghost just face-tank a bangling. Honestly a small nerf to hp would really improve TvZ lategame variety.
Then again, that'd make lurkers too powerful... god I hate Ghosts lol
terran need an aoe solution against zerg. you can come with 100+ marines and fungal and half the army is gone
@@wicem4 Seige tanks and widow mines don't cut it? You might be right, why the heck are hellbats so squishy? That could help.
@@natecw4164 tanks are powerful but easily overpowered by zerlings. mines are great additions but very limited in term of shooting frequence.what do you mean by squishy ?
@@wicem4 Hellbats die to banelings pretty easily, just feels odd since they're mechanical. I dunno, a good seige line and a couple liberators & mines can do some work.
@Nate C W it's true but it's very difficult to move units. They siege and unsiege and zerg just kamikaze everything lol
Why does terran seem so weak late game?

last game zerg was controlling 3/4 of the bases for most of the game and still couldn't close it until the late game. I don't understand if dark's shit or Terran is just busted. I tend to believe the latter.
Neither, Zerg are usually slightly underpowered, but they have tremendous production rate. You rarely get cost effective as zerg, but you have all the tools you need to win despite not being cost effective.
The issue we run into there is that ultra lategame, terran are the best because they don't need an economy. They can afford to have 150 to 180 suppl yof army because mules don't take supply. They can still have an economy without dedicating much supply to it.
Dark was playing extremely safe for no reason, sitting on 200 supply for a long time.
Zerg is busted. Has better spellcasters than Protoss (fungal, neural parasite and abduct basically drained Terran's resources for free), better early macro and very easy to remax.
Thats just how the matchup works, zerg can always take all bases for free but terran defense is just really hard to crack as long as they dont leave their corner of the map
