I am rapidly approaching 65 and have been overwhelmed by advertisements and phone calls from every insurer under the sun. I heard someone say to run from part C and your podcast confirms that. I’m going to watch this again to glean out every detail! Thank you so much!!!

Thank you for explaining this so clearly!!! I have a supplement under Plan F. I would never get an advantage plan! I never worry that I will have a co pay. I've had 2 major surgeries and never paid out of pocket for any medical tests or procedures. Please get a supplement under plan F if you are on Medicare. I pay a premium each month for my Plan F. But, I know I will not get stuck with thousands out of pocket as a nasty surprise in an emergency.

I so agree with you. They take “ advantage “ of the people. I dislike the commercials and phone calls this time of year My hospital won’t take any advantage plans for a very good reason. They screw them badly. Thank you for educating the masses. ❤❤❤.

Private insurers’ ONLY concern is profit. 😡

It's a shame. In Europe (Italy) we have free healthcare, and when i see Americans pay thousands of dollars to give birth , or because they had a broken limb, or worse, cancer and other evil diseases, i feel really bad for them. You have the pain of the disease already and who's going to decide about your life? An insurance Company. Not a doctor,a physician, but a white collar. Where's the tax money? What the states give to the Citizen in exchange of tax money? The american system Is a failure, and Americans ,most of them, agree with this, and is not just for the sanitary part, is for everything. Money are God, the human rights come After the banks' rights, the populace is plagiarized into thinking to distractions, like guns for example, to keep them Always one vs another. The american dream Is a lie, you get success not Just hustling hard but also respecting others, Building a clean, not religious state that allows everyone to have their one, instead of using christianity to push extremist agendas against people's Freedom.

It’s a broken system, no doubt.

I agree with you. In Canada we have government health care and especially in Quebec it is going down the drain. Thousands
and thousands of people have no doctor. Surgery list are very long, and the wait, I will not mention that! But some doctors have opted out of Medicare and are in private practice $$$$
Not everyone can afford that amount of money.
And, insurance, they are there to collect but when it comes to paying out
well...... you mention it in your podcast.

I, too, am not a fan of insurance companies, but I have enrolled in Part C plans in the Chicago area for several years and been well served. I have no additional monthly premium for the plan and that really suits my budget. The large medical group, which includes my primary care physician, accepts the plan I have chosen, so it works for me. But, I have no major health issues so that may be why I have never been denied care or medications. I did change from Humana for 2025 because they have basically been thrown out of Minnesota and I travel there to visit family several times a year. I'm aware that Plan C is not for everyone, but so far, I have been satisfied with it. But, buyer beware!

For some folks they works out fine, but doing your research is key! Private insurers will screw you at every turn, any way they can. It’s always profits over patients for them.
