What a wonderful, caring lady. I did enjoy hearing her testimony. So tragic that she alone survived of her family and having to endure those horrendous conditions in the camps was a nightmare for someone so young and mourning the loss of her parents and little brother. Thank you!

I thoroughly appreciated Mrs Kauppila making this interview and what a devout evangelical Christian she is. It is clear her faith carried her through everything in life. She described in detail how her entire family had to secretly meet to pray with other Christians under the communists. Not sure why she is listed as a Jewish survivor when throughout the interview she is clear that she is a very devout Christian and loves the Jews as she loves all people.

Jozie Molody I believe she’s listed as a Jewish survivor simply because her mother was Jewish by birth, I’ve seen other testimonies like that where the person is considered a Jewish survivor but one of the parents was not Jewish at all and in fact the family was fully secularized, I think they classify based off of Jewish heritage rather than whether or not the family was practicing or not and that kind of thing.

    • @cmdb582

her mother was jewish. that makes her jewish by jewish law, regardless of her christian beliefs

Praise the Lord for this wonderful woman’s testimony. I definitely shed a few tears as she told how she survived those inhuman c. camps. And then was rescued by the U. S. Army. Very few of us can appreciate what she went through. We should thank the Lord every day for the freedoms that we have!

Lori Johnson yeah I have watched a lot of these interviews and some of the interviewers are just terrible, either they are just really horrible at conducting an interview and or they are just really rude or cold. I’ve even seen some where it says if the person was being forced to do it or something you could literally tell that they were like in a hurry, some of them are really weird like that

Tania’s testimony is so interesting and important: 3:22 Tania rightfully pleads that “war is wrong”. And yet, right now Putin has declaired war on Ukraine including air strikes on Kiev. Do We, as a race, ever learn?
My grandfather faught in WWI (Australian Army) he was also of the right age to fight again in WWII. He declined stating that “no good ever came from war “.
It 2022 - 26 years since Tania told her story about the atrocities that occurred in the Ukraine and 89 years since Hitler came to power. And here we are - another war with more innocent lives lost. God help us because we can’t help ourselves.

The wonderful memories she has of her parents is beautiful. Sounds like her father was a very caring. I love when she talked about one God and was able to justify both religions. That speaks to my heart. I could convert to almost any religion because I know in my heart it’s only one God and it’s how you treat people that matters the most.
