    Thank you for the video. My dad showed me the problem he was having and I had no idea what it was. First search on youtube I found your video and its perfect. Thanks for the effort.

    Thanks for the vid. This was a blast to do! lol. -try doing the mode actuator as well. it's on the other side but it's even farther and deeper than the main actuator.-fun. I had to break the last screws off as well, of BOTH of the actuators. -hey, on the bright side, it makes it easier to put the new ones in! When you're all done, there is a calibration process too...

    If you take the glove compartment out, then take off the panel that holds the switch for the passenger door on the far right side, from there you can stick a long extension through the hole to unscrew all 3 screws. took me no time at all.

    Man, a 1/4" breaker bar would have helped you get to that screw. Seems doable.

      Oh, yeah I have that now but back then I was stubborn and just wanted it done lol

    Will this cause the air conditioning not to blow cool air,I replaced the air compressor and it’s holding Freon,but it has a slow knock on the passenger side from the actuator

    • @Fpom79
      @Fpom79 2 года назад +1

      No, this is simply what controls where the air comes out of.

      Did you find your problem?? I have the same problem the compressor turns on and is at the right pressure of Freon but no cold air

    Thanks for sharing. How much $ does the part cost?? How important is that function really, why not just unplug it & forget about it? ("out of HEARing, out of mind"...)

    Do you think an 08 Vue blend door is in the same spot?

    I'm about to attempt doing the same thing. Would it be easier to remove the side panel to access the actuator - or must I be a contortionist and do a 180 on my back and look up to do this?

      I remember seeing framing around it and it may have made it tough for me to reach it. I don't have this car anymore :/
