- Do you want to paint like a pro 'Super Quick?' Then the first thing you need to know is how to roll a wall. In this video I will show you how to professionally roll a wall without making a mess. I'll also share with you a few tricks of the trade to help you along.

How do you roll a wall with a windows and doors on the same wall plane?
There is mini rollers you can get for small areas. Definitely helps for the areas you can't use a full roller.

hi, i get uneven patches up and down the wall? any tips?
Always keep the roller full of paint and start in the middle and go up and down and always roll half way of what you rolled so you don’t get lines

How many coats?
Depends the wall, type of paint, and color you’re painting over
Can I reuse my roller the next day for a second coat
yes..wrap in saran wrap and it will stay wet for days or even weeks

Why can’t you go to the top if your painting it the same colour?
How do I avoid ending covered in paint? Everytime I roll a wall the paint "sprinkles" all over my arms, face, and floor
Not a pro but as someone who had that problem and worked past it, good quality brushes/rollers and good quality paint, and when you dip, make sure to roll off the excess, and don’t roll too fast!

To keep the roller against the wall as you cover other areas.
And that wall is going to have all kinds of flashing, you are over-rolling it, pulling paint off is bad.

He did it slowly to demonstrate technique
Step one. Don’t buy the 2 dollar handy man kit. Step 2 don’t listen to anyone who does.
My first thought
I was thinking the same but near the end the direct lighting showed he blended the lap lines into what looked like one consistent section. I wasn't a huge fan of the dry brushing but the 3/4 rule made sense. If he were to have cut, back brushed and back rolled and didn't dry brush I feel it would have been even more spectacular.
@@raven5189 When you get done painting for 30 years on a level where you are booked out on work for 6-9 months and do no advertising of any kind …… but I can tell you just watch DIY videos and do shit work someone like me will fix someday.

Get to the end and stop…wild. So your not supposed to paint the floor
This is...not optimal. You should only roll in one direction and make sure the paint is going on without patches. The more pressure you apply the worse the paint will look when dried.
The harder you push it was causes roosters on the wall, no need to push hard.

I'm struggling with those instructions. Too many movements and change of camera and zooming. One thing that really bothers me that I see a lot of different frames where you flip the direction of the rollers arm (At 2:10 it is at the left side, while at 2:12 is on the right side). I came here mostly for proper technique and understand how to properly roll the paint without leaving edges, but no luck.

Bought a big.tin of paint at the 2:59 2:59 2:59 2:59 checkout was asked would you like it in a bag I said no thanks I would rather leave it in the tin as the bags have small holes at the bottom and there would be a lot of mess in my car and no paint left by the time I got home
