I’d say he brought this style of drumming to the table around 1970/early 71. When the rocksteady era was making way for early reggae.

I would like to see an earlier song with this rhythm, searching for "the wailers band 1971" does not yield any results except from Augustus Pablo and The Upsetters... I hope I can found another one of this early masterpieces.

@@johntom8291 True! I am now reading a book and I'll try to compile songs from that period. Another thing is that there may be a mistake on this record, as I have seen in other places that this was released in '75, instead of '72, but I can't recall where I read that at.
