In order to make the best decision on which day to cross we are continuously reading and analyzing all of the data. From weather apps, to Gulfstream data, to wind conditions, we look at it all! Clearing customs has also gotten significantly easier with the CBP Roam app. Follow along with us as we cross home and clear customs to learn all of the details.

I'd been wondering what you had to do after getting back, thanks ladies.
top notch vid/info!! Enjoy these types of videos just as much as your fishing adventures and catch n' cooks!👍 keep 'em coming! tight lines Capts🎣
Glad you like them! Thank you for watching!!
You might want to invest in mercury vessel view mobile. It's a Bluetooth module that connects on one of your motors and will keep track of hours, maintenance schedule, fuel used, along with many other features. They are not very expensive but give you a wealth of data at your fingertips by connecting with your phone through the app. A little extra insurance about fuel usage doesn't hurt.
Edit: I'm pretty sure it would connect under the dash instead of on the motor for your boat
You could also put a module on your bay boat to keep track of everything on that one too using the same app
Awesome .. first video to explain reentry👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you liked it
Thank you!!
How is Kona doing? Keep those vids coming so much to learn! Thanks

On longer journeys while underway over open water, do you wear your PFD’s?
I’m a kid my name is Adaiah I got a spinning rod and your videos are so helpful wat fishing line do you prefer I’m a fan of you
Good info and wonderful scenery!
So just out of curiosity what happens if you don't check in upon return? Do you have to clear customs if your just out fishing International waters without going on land at the Bahamas? Do they track every boat that comes and goes from International waters?
Back in pre- war on terror days, it wasn't a big deal. We crossed back over one time in 1987 and it was a rough crossing. All we talked about all the way across was heading to go get a pizza the second we tied up. We got in around 8:00 pm, pulled into a marina and I called Customs from a phone booth to check in. Before I could tell them where we were or who we were, they said it would be at least two hours and not to leave the boat. When I told the rest of the crew that, there unanimous shouts of "Hang up the phone. Don't tell them anything!" I hung up and we went and got pizza and never heard anything from them again! Now, you'd probably be on the terrorist list for life.
Maybe CBP is only concerned about Americans returning home. Seems like entering through our southern border might be easier.
I would also like to know that question that is your friend
238 km / 605 liter (Unit Conversions)
Do they still require a passport?
What if you don't care to carry a cell phone everywhere you go?
I love these kind of videos y'all do. I mean I love the fishing more. But I appreciate learning this kind of stuff. Thank you
Your left right audio is switched and it's driving me crazy...ee
Glad you like them! ☺️
Woah.. Thats way more fuel used than what I would expect. Are you going WOT all the way?
How long the journey you had from Bahamas to the states ?
Do you need any type of flags if so what colors?
How would anyone know you were in the Bahamas when returning to the USA?
someone who travels from the Bahamas to Maimi
Your the best
Thanks!
No, thank you!! We appreciate the support. Tight lines 🎣
❤❤❤
Something that never made sense to me is why boats use soo much freaking fuel. 160 gallons used in less than 6 hours is crazy. When a car uses WAY less in that same amount of miles.
The resistance of rolling wheels on pavement and aerodynamic drag on an automobile is less than the hydrodynamic drag of water on a boat.
@@kirkport1411 right. That’s the obvious answer but once you are on plain there isn’t as much resistance as you think. Still a good more than a car but it’s still crazy to think how much fuel a boat uses.
Boats are expensive 🙃
I need your help
👍
Seems like a lot of fuel burn... less than 1.0 mpg avg. Hmmmm.
That's typical. Especially at speed.
11,000 lb boat not counting the weight of the 900hp outboards, fuel, gear, live wells, freshwater tanks, the friction of the water and hull at around 50mph.
It's not like the free-rolling of a tire on solid surface once it's started moving, and that inertia. Even trimming the props out the moment you shutdown the power-there's G-forces involved with the quickness you stop compared to putting a vehicle in neutral on a flat surface at 50mph.
@@Ray56z First, they weren't making 50mph... that is top speed for their boat (they did a video). Impossible to cross at that speed in a 33' boat. Maybe they averaged 35 mph max. I have a 32 Cape Horn with yamaha 300's. Yes, it's a lighter boat with 6" less beam, but we get 1.7-1.8 loaded cruising at 35 mph. Top speed is 60 with a light load. Stanz gets 1.0 mpg in his 42 freeman cruising around 35-40. Anyway... just seems like those Merc 350's suck the fuel.
@@daytrading5456mono hull better fuel economy
I pray for the days I get 1.0 mpg on our Bertram 42! We only get that going about five knots!
💪🏻💪🏻🔥🔥
A bit of advice, don't swap your passports... Ha...
Why do you keep ur boat in west palm instead of pompano?
👏👏❤️👏👏
hmmmmmmmmmm
You have to pay to re-enter your own country???? No way!!!
Make another video while fishing, but before the fishing tutorial, use a buff mask closed ok.
MAKE SURE FLY YOUR YELLOW FLAG.
