BOTY and BBOYING in general is not what it use to be.... good old times, no youtube, no DVD, no commercial event with 50 dollars door. the real underground shit. thanks for the video. great job
Holy crap... I get worn out if I have to climb a couple of flights of stairs, I could never in a million years to anything in this vid... these guys' dedication to their craft is incredible.
this kicks it bad. i'm glad i started bboying 95, and i started collecting battle of the year since 96, that's my first bboy tape i had (besides the movies breakin 1 & 2, wildstyle, beatstreet and others that had bboying in it)
good lord, this vid takes me back. i remember going to the dj shop and hounding them for boty tapes. i think i still have the tapes too but no vcr lol.
hellll yeah! Battle Squad! Emilio, Maurizio, Swift and Storm were the craziest back then!!! wonder what them cats are up to now-a-days. dancing their hearts out still i bet
I'm glad to see that the b-boy spirit is alive and well. It's a little sad to see the way that hip hop music (once such an integral part of b-boy culture) has become corporate- a commodity to be tested, formulated, and presented to the masses. But the art of breakdance is still alive- please keep it up!
man bboying changed so much ahah, back when it started, i thought moves like hand hops and crazy freezes were started out but now i can see windmills are so popular back then lol
i cant believe ive never seen that clip. thats how a best of clip should look like... whoever was battling those japanese dudes at 4:03 got SMOKED by that routine. this post gives inspiration for days
6.28 was freaking cool...damn thats fast legs...overall...damn awesome...*salute* bboying is a discipline that always never fails to astound me...how much the body can take...
and to think this started from some poor innercity kids up in the bronx... wow i remember trying to bboy back in the early 80's but these kids really take the art to another level and keep it alive.mad props.
Sencillamente INCREIBLE.¡Yo quiero hacer esos movimientos!Felicidades desde España.Just AMAZING.I want to do those movemens!.Congratulations from Spain
yeah you're right, anyone from anywhere can be a great bboy, taken they total put their heart into it. Theirs alot of charisma, alot fight, alotheart, and alot of talent in this video. I'm mind boggled by what these guys do here. Too amazing to believe possible. In addtion, Asians Rules also
Look..I will just say this. It will probably make some Americans mad, and I am an American. Those Asian cats are cold as hell. I didn't see anyone come close to them in regards to skill. If this was just a comp. of only Asian b-boy dancing then I am mistaken...,But Damn are they good. I am a former B-Boy of the 80's now in my 40's. These guys are doing things we never ever thought about... I am still in awe.. America we can't go out like that. WoooW

i find break dancing more of like a body/performing-art working in a tandem with music to get a creative flow going, more so than an actual dance...if that makes any sense haha. i meant that in a good way, i'm always amazed by what those guys do with their bodies...i guess thats why i think it's different from actual dancing cuz it's chaotic, spontaneous at times and really for the most part doesnt have structure... but damn it's awesome
i wanna learn to flare continuous lol. idk i heard headspin can stop your growth spurt so not really sure but i also heard its pretty quick to learn cause all u need is need to learn to balance.
