2:45 -- Shine through (pass through) LEPs will produce more lumens, but at the cost of a tighter, more intense hotspot that the mirrored (reflective) LEPs will provide. Currently in broad terms, if you want the most candela, you'll want the mirrored LEPs like you'd see from the W3 Pro or the W4 Pro/TAC. If you want a more uniform, larger hotspot that has more usable lumens, the shine through LEPs like the W3 Pro TAC and the W5 are better choices. Some applications may need a bigger hotspot, especially if you don't need the hotspot to carry beyond 2 kilometers, in which case shine through mirrors are more useful, as they usually provide a bigger, cleaner, uniform, less tint shifting hotspot with minimal bleeding around the edges of that spot and are capable of pushing out more lumens.
Also, the shine through technology is to classify as class-1 laser, so it can be sold into more country ( cuz some region has restrictions of class-3B laser)
Wow i didnt know this existed. The food on that lep makes it a usable light. I dont like leps but I might have to get this one for the flood. This is probably the most practical lep on the market.
@@raffaelegibellini667 If you are in Australia you can order from Liteshop.com.au Or if you are outside of Australia you can order this from Weltool.com The output is the same, just the runtime is reduced
Sooo, I’m curious. Let’s say you meet someone in a dark alley. Is the hotspot too small to easily check their eye colour?! You’ve got me thinking of buying this one as well 😂
The W3PRO TAC would be more useful as it has a larger hotspot. But in. dark alley, you won't need something like this to blind someone. You only need around 600 lumens and 9,000 candela to do that. Darkness is awesome because it forces our eyes to adjust to it. So once our eyes are adjusted to the dark, it does not take much light to stun. Something like the Weltool LEP lights would be more useful to stun in broad daylight
@@flashlightcrazy yeah right, well I did buy the tn12pro as my edc as I love the usbc and controls. Guess I’m just wondering if as u say w3pro might be even better still for that job haha - anyways you’ve got a new sub!
I ordered the pro TAC from a company here in the United States. And they did not send me the tactical version. I personally think they did it on purpose?
The tac version is better but after getting the w3 pro, I'm not spending all that money for "better." Good review as always.
I look forward to the inevitable Weltool W3 plus review.

Thank you yet again for an amazingly helpful comment

The W3 tac is the first lep with some spill , I like it ✌️✌️🔦🔦
Weltool actually has a Lep with actual spill, it's called the w1. It's an 18650 600 lumen Lep, very compelling as well
@@mikeenslin3009which one would you prefer?

Just ordered this with the 18350 kit.
Absolutely insane what weltool is coming out with lately.
You will love it bro!

@@raffaelegibellini667 Cheers bro. Appreciate the support
I just picked up the Tac. I have the AceBeam W 35 along with the Thor 3 I can’t wait for it to come on the 1st.
Of the three which do u recommend sir?
Love the review!! Keep smashin it brother!!👍👍
I'm using the W3ProTac to play as a wizard in Airsoft
I’m buying one. Thanks :)
The tac is killin it!!
What do you think about the W3 Pro Tac as a self defense flashlight?
W4 pro tac and mateminco w1 are on the way but i think this may be more practical for a lot of situations.
The tint of the beam is just terrible. Very green. Unusable if you ask me.
Is there an LEP you recommend?
Late to this. But awesome review bro!
Cheers brother!
Thanks for the review! do you happen to know if you can buy a remote switch for this one? or a compatible one from other brand?
I don't think they can be used with remote switches yet
Im really debating between the W3Pro Tac or the W1 Pro
Wow I can’t imagine what 930 lumens would do to someone’s eyes at 540,000 candela.

Who did you order it from? I am going to order one, but don’t want the same issue, if you don’t mind…
@Dirtywhtboy87930 I called them and they immediately fixed the issue
that's pricey
