Someone needs to mention to her that some schools in the West are using games as subject material in English classes. As a gamer, she can learn English very well that way, probably still need a dictionary though.
Honestly, the girls struggle so much from bad experiences, it makes me want to ship my bilingual friend (former TEFL teacher that taught in Japan 4 years) over there. His wife (Japanese) is quite proficient in English from him. They're both musicians and teachers currently, probably could land a good job over there if they'd have him, again.
