Thx 🙏! Due to the fact that the EDF version of HSD F16 is significantly lighter I used this one and did the conversion. In this case a 45N turbine like X45 or K45 is absolutely enough! The coming new Xicoy X66 (only 450g) would also be a very interesting turbine if more power ist wanted 😉. In my cockpit a Freewing F16 pilot should fit; I will try to get one! There will be a video after first flights 😉!
Great work, i too have the x45 in a tired 80mm eflite f16. I want to do this conversion now, can you tell me the weight of the f16 without 12s batteries and without the edf? Or the all up dry weight with x45?
Hi, with this Platypus or bag tanks you never need any UAT! I always use such systems since 10 years and never had any problems with this type of tanks!
Color scheme is very nice. I have the same in my F16. Can you please tell me where did you buy the thrust tube. I want to convert also my edf to turbine. 😊

Thx🙏, I ended up dry with X45 at 4,8kg so AUW will be with 1l fuel about 5,5kg
