Hi Steve! Halfway through watching your WHW series and really enjoying it so far! My husband and I are starting in just over 5 weeks, currently nursing damaged tendons in my foot from training for it so fingers crossed! Such a refreshing bunch of videos to watch, and funny too 🤣 well done on your achievement so far! 👏🏻
That’s so kind, thank you very much. Really hope your foot gets better because you’ll need them in fine fettle for the Inversnaid gnarly section and the Glencoe drovers road especially. Making your husband carry the majority of the weight should help as well of course. 😉 So jealous that you’re doing it. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
@@strollingsteve4271 well we’re definitely going to do some videos for RUclips on our channel ‘The Scholeys’ We’ll give you a shout out! Definitely going on your recommendations for pub stops etc 🤣 we’ve got the smidge nets at the ready for the little beasties!
@@d_scholey1993 I’ll definitely be following. 👍🏻 Absolutely smother yourself with smidge. I’m not sure whether I put enough on because my legs got bitten to hell. Only showed up on the train home strangely. I’ve put a couple of links in the descriptions for each video of where I stopped that night or campsites I past. Also there’s a few links to other videos or channels I found useful. But if you have any questions don’t hesitate in asking me owt and I’ll help as much as I can. 👍🏻🥾
@@strollingsteve4271 bless you, that’s so helpful! Just on day 6 now! Your itinerary is very similar to ours actually. We’re wild camping for the majority but definitely staying at Drymen campsite on the first night to ‘find out feet’ We’re recording a packing video this weekend at our local campsite so keep an eye out for that 👀 also to test out our Lanshan tent!
I did the WHW about 20 years ago so it is interesting to see the views. But personally I have to cut the chatting backward views. I like the view forwards and not many seem to do that for the trails. As @r4ndym4n i stick to the front view in all my documentaries. Each to their own I suppose. But thanks for reporting the route and posting the videos.
Nice one Steve..
👍⛰️🥾
Thanks again Jimmy mate. 👍🏻🥾

@@d_scholey1993 aye I can understand people stopping there. The legs were just getting a bit tired as I passed the campsite.
You’ll love it!

Cheers mate.
Personally I like to see who’s talking/doing the hike. But like you say, each to their own.
