Greetings Kev, I've own the same model for over 3 1/2 years now and I haven't changed a thing nor popped a string yet. Everything is still stocked since I purchased it. All I do is just wipe the air dust with a cloth that's it. I noticed through the few years the metal parts looks relic and not shinny anymore but it's ok, cause I like the road worn look and I always keep my axe clean! An advice I learn from Will Lee former bassist with the Late Night with David Letterman Show (The Worlds Most Dangerous Band) past tense, who told me years ago. I also agree with you too Kev, about how some bass players on RUclips who trash talk or modified this Epi EB-0 bass with an up graded bridge, machine head tuners and pickup when it's not necessary. Hey ya'll Bass-players, IT'S A FREAKIN BASS without the bells n' whistles, nuff said!!! Great video Kev, peace n love Brother✌❤

Change the potentiometer from the standard 500k pot that's in there to a 1 Meg tone pot that should open up the tonality a bit.
Playing with a pick will also give a different note definition and a bit more brightness

i know all about using picks on a bass thanks for the idea on the pot i know what it can do but i prefer to leave it as it was ment to sound , how else can we justify buying more gear LOL

I agree with leaving it. I absolutely love my epiphone eb-0 paired with my telecaster in a recording mix, they compliment each other so well.
